i was very impressed by nokia, but after buying nokia lumia 710 i am very upset n disappointed, lumia bettary life is so bad, i charge my phone 3 times a day, more over i can't read message as fonts are very small. and i can't received call in existing contact,i will never buy nokia..
are they going to update software so we can get relief?please let me know thanks lawrence2219@gmail.com

Hi guys,
I have upgraded my lumia 710 with 7.8 OS. but i am facing internet connectivity issues after the upgrade. internet gets disconnected automatically and each time i have to restart the phone for internet. any suggestiions please??

kartik, 29 Jan 2013s duos is better then 710. andriod is most better then wind... moreS duos is one of the most laggy and slowest phone ive used till date , gives you literally the worst smartphone experience , i'd rather suggest galaxy ace or even galaxy y for god's sake but never this piece of machinery , dumped it on the third day !

As rumored, today Nokia announced the release of Windows Phone 7.8 for various devices including the Lumia 510, 610, 710, 800 and 900. Owners of these handsets won't be making the leap to Windows Phone 8 — a fact they're all too familiar with by now — but this software update brings at least some of the new functionality found in the latest crop of Windows Phones to Nokia's older phones. Most of the new features are visual: you'll now be able to resize Live Tiles on your home screen and choose from a number of themes carried over from Windows Phone 8. Beginning today and lasting over the next few weeks, users receive a promot about the update's availability. From there, you just need to plug in your Lumia and boot up the Zune desktop software to get going.

If u want to connect any oder fone via Bluetooth to send/receive audio and pics(no video transfer) then..
1)Turn on Bluetooth on Ur lumia 710 and make visibility on d oder Fone.
2)Then go to Bluetooth Transfer app on Lumia.
3)To send a file,go to share option in Bluetooth Share app,Then u will have to press either file or music.
4)Then select d desired file,If u r sharing for the first time then it will show no devices.
Just press on it.It will search for devices.
5)Once u select the desired device tap on it and accept the Bluetooth code on the other fone.
Then after tapping,it will show not connected.
Dont worry. Just press back button and there the device will be highlighted press it and done..
6)To receive also go to receive option in app and then again press the no devices or it will be written ready to receive files.. Press it,then choose your desired Fone and u will b able to receive it
NOTE:during Bluetooth file transfer make sure you do not leave d app or else it will fail.

can connect lumia 710 to pc wuth zune program... is not very good but is single for connect lumia to pc...

Even with the WP7.8 upgrade the phone does not have direct Bluetooth connectivity. No Bluetooth music accessories supported. No Direct PC Connectivity to access internal storage.
Still unable to connect to WinXP / Win7 addhoc WiFi connection. Problem with the Internal Music application. Once Songs put on repeat mode, the repeat mode continues even if stopped. Need to re-start the phone for continuous music
In spite of downloading offline maps for Nokia Drive Maps cannot be seen in Satellite mode.
Conclusion Not worth the price?

abc, 27 Jan 2013who is better lumia 710 or galaxy s duoss duos is better then 710. andriod is most better then windos .710 is not a good mobile bcz no gameloft no adobe flash sopported no avi format soppoted no frnt cemra no big display, s duos is everything. ...

A phone with innumerable demerits n defects...NO value 4 money...Worst battery life..Overheats n hangs always..Nothing can be downloaded from net...a cheating product....ITS SALE MUST BE BANNED.
