Nokia Lumia 800 is selling hot in cold Finland

03 February, 2012

The first Nokia Windows Phone - the Lumia 800 - has been selling like hot cakes in Nokia's homeland, Finland. The phone was launched on February 1st there and some retailers are already reporting that they're out-of-stock, whilst others expect to deplete their supplies in the next few days.

It would seem that the Finns are showing serious dedication towards 'the next big thing' from their favorite local company. Whether the good sales are due to some sort of national pride, as a result of a smart advertising strategy advertising or just plain love for the company - it doesn’t matter. The Lumia 800 is selling really well, so Nokia should be able to expect some really positive results come the end of this financial quarter.
