1. samsung has 8 core cpu but only 4 work at the same time and 1.6Ghz is not that amazing,unless u go for the quad core 1.9
2.different OS require different resources why does Iphones 1.2Ghz dual core proc runs faster than any other quad core in Android? not a fan o Iphone but...respect
3.to use all cores u need apps coded for quad core,and you have just a hand full of them,
4.you don`t buy a phone for its processor you chose its OS

Raj, 12 May 2013Samsung's 8 core processor is everywhere in market since 2 ... moreit depends of the os, my nokia c7 had 256 of ram, and it used 110mb of ram for system and the rest it was for you, that was with symbian, with android you need at least 512 of ram to use it well, i dont know how is it with windows phone, i think it doesnt need o much power to use it smooth.

I mean you can pay as much as you want for a phone, is based on what you need ;)
