Nokia Lumia 928 goes airborne to show off its OIS skills

10 May, 2013

Nokia continues to drum up excitement about the Lumia 928, which will launch in four days. The latest video revisits the Optical Image Stabilization feature of the camera, but instead of low-light footage this time the Finns strapped their upcoming flagship to a remote-controlled octa-copter and flew over various landscapes.

It's not a vs. video either, just the Nokia Lumia 928 trying to dampen the vibrations coming from the eight motors turning the rotors of the copter.

Let's just hope things don't turn out the way they did with the Lumia 920 OIS promo shots.

you have proof of that? anything measurable? feel free to show us, because the last time I checked, tech blogs and even gsmarena themselves had such proof, and they even held the n8 in such high regard even when the 808 pureview came out.

Let nokia be what it is now with camera as a selling point, not all people are fond of apps anyway.. there's always room for another os.. Wait and see Tizen, ubuntu etc more choices..
