here in italy some web site is starting to denounce the problems of the n71 display!!!!!!! thanks to this site!!!!

im planning to buy n71 0r n80.but n80 is quite expensive..what do you think..is it ok to ahve n71? is it good? anybody tell me pls..thanks coz wanna buy tommorow.

The key pad scratch to the phone LCD problem it could be due to the silicon stopper or hinge.I noticed that and I had my problem solved by changing the cover hinge with free,as is still in warranty.Another common part that the user has to check is your video call function, as I encounter the party can't see the caller image and this problem was solved by the service with replaced the faulty camera.The unpleasant experince I had with nokia service centre is they can't solve the LCD screen flickering problem particulary at the new text message menu and some of the others menu function.After changed a new LCD display,the problem is still there and I am still waiting for their solution.However, is a very disappointed answer they claimed is like this and that and I do not agreed with it, as the N73 and N71 are using the same OS version.Hope that this can be resolved by Nokia service centre soon.

Hi i am going to buy this phone. BUT are scratches should hold me to buy n71 ?
the main reason to not buying n70 is the screen rez and i realy like n71(good price now).
please help me if you have experience with n71 .tanx

i'm writing from italy...here we have the same problem with the n71...it's a very good phone..but this is an important problem. we are waiting for news from nokia italy...is anybody in europe that had changed the display??? thank you and sorry for my bad english

I also have a problem with the keys scratching the screen. And has anyone ever managed to get the flash player to work? It either displays an empty block on a web page, or says the flash file is corrupted.

I am searching for a software that can resize .avi files so I can play it on my N71. Can anyone suggest what can I do?

The sratches on the screen basically should be within the warranty terms as it is a fault in the design and NOT user caused. In the future I'd suggest you buy/haggle from the retailer a small plastic piece to cover the display. It'll take a bit from the screen's sharpness but protects the screen from the scratches. Or you could attach some pads to the lid to make the lid rest a bit higher from the body. Easy little tricks to make the phone last.

well you please Help me people!??
The phone is great in everything inlcuding camera,mp3 and even the options but something weird is going on..
I downloaded some themes from a site and they are .sis then i started installing them in the phone 2 themes installed then when i tried to install the rest it said "This file is not supported" and it cancel the installation..The problem is all those themes in the same site and my sister could of install them in her phone N72 i don't know what happened...Please somebody help!! Compare to N91, which one is better?
Is this phone easy to get scratch like everyone said? Also does this phone have screen saver? Thanks...I currently have N80 but I didnt like it so plan to change a new one....

This phone is particulary rocks i got this phone 3 days ago and i cant see any problem as some of the people are talking, guys the problem is how you can take care of the phone because the phone will not take care of itself so i think it depend on the hands which are using the phone which can give a long time good phone.

i love the phone, i don't mind the size, i guess having small phones for quite some time bored me out... one question though, i read in the review that there's an anti virus for this phone, is it included in the cd with the pc suite or do i have to download it from somewhere. thanks!

don't u think there is inadequate room for the keypads ??
other then tht . . it's tooo big . .
and the same n70 functions !!
and the price is quite more expensive then n70 !

i using this phone for the past 2 months, it's been great! but after reading this review, i can confirm that the internal screen has scratches! didn't realised was from the key pad initially. What do you think i can do? it's still under warranty.

its a super phone it rocks but the only problem it has that although i use it for three days my screen had a small scratch on it because of the keypad im thinking of how to solve it but other than this n71is a super phone

man,if you don`t want to scratch the dispay,buy the n71.the n80 is better than n71(wlan,3.15mpx)n71 and n70 is better than any Nseries phones.i have a n70.and i have a single problem.rez of the display is 176x208.nokia has better ones
