From viewing by any other person.. i know how to lock complete phone.. but wat abt specific msges , videos or pics.. pls reply as soon as u can.

does this phone hangs or not.and is the price okay for this type of phone and does the picture in gallery dims wen set as a wallpaper????????????????

Well it does lag a bit when you open the gallery, but then everything's fine. You know, you don't want people to see anything in your phone, why don't you just use the add-on which just auto-locks the phone and you must enter the password to use it ? It is in the security settings. Well if not... For blocking access to applications, there is "Advanced Device Locks", but I believe it blocks access to all applications when you want it, I'm not sure. For photos and videos, "Best SmartCrypto" or "Handy PhotoSafe" should work. For hiding the SMS messages I think there is an app called "MumSMS". If you need any more information about any of these, leave me your email...

Now since i Cannot use any walkman's headphone, so Nokia's which headph u suggest to get the best sound. M not liking the sound of the headph, the one we get along wid this ph.

Hi Friends
Before I used to have a 128 mb memory card for my mobile tht was given at the time of purchase.
But now I placed 1gb memory card in tht
now every thing is displayed
but tht images and Songs and displyed in gallery and Music player
It is saying as path not Found
can any one say how to Set path for those
gallery and Music player to display the images and play the songs respectively

Guys..this phones gud exxept its a bit slow
while openin gallery.......n i want to no is thr any way to hide the msgs..images n videos from unknown ppl seein it...or any such software wich asks for password wen u click to enter a particular application....

Not many of them, really. There is Opera (not mini java version, a Symbian version), Symantec antivirus (with an expiration date), Adobe PDF reader, QuickOffice (includes Word, Excel and PowerPoint files viewers, Kodak (program which lets you upload your own pics into some server and share them), Yahoo search. Also there is RealPlayer but it is impossible to remove, it's required to play music and watch videos.

Yes there is a way. Go:
Menu > Messages > [left softkey] > Settings > Other > Used Memory > Memory Card
Yes you can do it with Nokia Phone Browser. It is included in Nokia PC Suite program you get with your phone. Start Nokia PC Suite, connect your phone, and start the Nokia File Browser. Go into the phone, Memory card and you can create folders and copy files there. If it is impossible for some reason, then you should connect your phone with a cable, with had to be included with your phone. It DOES have higher speed when transferring.
There is software for locking pics and vids, leave me your email if you want to know more.

Hi,
Is there any way where we can change the settings of SMS from Phone to MMC. So the msgs get stored directly to MMC. I've tried doin it but couldn't. Secondly the camera pics,,videos and those video and pics transfered from computer or any other device by using bluetooth are all stored in "images and video folder".. there is no option to create a new folder there or to move personal files and videos to menu or any other folder...can anyone help me with this matter..is any software available to create new folder or to lock pics and videos.

Omg I posted this like 10 times already ! Do NOT fill the Phone Memory ! Keep it empty, do not install anything there ! Do your business in the Memory Card, and the phone won't hang that often. You must keep some empty space for the Temp files.
To mm:
What do you mean ? Everything is fine with the battery and the cover...
To Freddy:
Well not much, you still can leave it for ~10 hours to charge, but effect won't be that strong. Still, the battery isn't the strongest side of this phone, so it always is good to have a second one.
To Gioge:
Maybe you are trying to install non Symbian v8.1 software ? It will never run Symbian v9.1 software. And sometimes the program itself does not work on a specific phone.
To SANDY:
Would you at least read the previous posts ? It has been told a million times already, do not install anything into the phone's memory, keep it empty. Also leave some empty space in your MMC card.
To anil:
Well firstly, do you really need an antivirus ? If you do not install any software you downloaded from untrusted sites and you keep your Bluetooth off, then you don't need it. Also it slows down your phone a bit, because it is always working... You buy/download one, install it, and everything else is pretty simple. Here's a couple of good antiviruses for your phone: Symantec, Kaspersky.
To Shruti:
It does have Real player. You cannot change the cover easily by yourself, but it is possible to change. Crystal covers ? Never heard of them...
To DKESH:
Well you can infect your phone by downloading Symbian software to your computer, then installing it by connecting your phone to your PC. Also by downloading the software directly into your phone and installing it. It is also possible to catch a virus if you keep your Bluetooth on, someone might try to send you one...
To sukla:
If you just browse, usually no. You should avoid downloading any software with your phone.

Can you tell me how the phone is affected by virus. i.e, it is affected either by connecting to a PC or becasue of downloading games, applications etc., in to the mobile.

Hi guys if don't mind then can u tell me wheather n72 have Real One player or not? Are the body covers exchangable?? Are crystal covers available for this mobile because it has a camera protection cover?? Thanx in advance!
