arre haa this n72 is too expensive plus here in India Edge technology is yet to com the only thing is that the sound is good but its is nothing compared to sony ericsson.

Hi DiO, and Hi to all
The problem of Voice Commands getting activated(dials any number automatically), on a touch of a bluetooth headset butten, not yet solved.
what can be done?
I hav stopped using the BT headset.
whenever i use my BT headset, i hav to put my phone on line 2.(so that if my phone dials a number thru the voice tag) its on line 2 and call can not be connected.
pls help yaar!!!

I am using this phone for the last two months and beleave me its a very good phone its picture quality and sound quality is far more better than any other nokia phone. I want to ask oner thing i dont know how i can download songs, wallpapers from internet to my mobile phone plz help me out as early as possible bcoz i want to download many somgs from the internet but i dont know the procedure and i m very thankful if u send me the rply on my email id that is m_mehta71983@yahoo.com

Dat's not d fone as its price its price shd b less den 11000 & its current rate is 14500 (Pakistani currency) . It doesn't has v gud features & camera.

6 months back i purchased this phone & its cool but the main draw back is that u cant change the song with ur headset......thats terrible

Oh cmon, it's easy:
Menu > Tools > Profiles > General (or whichever you use) > Personalise (I think) > Tone .
Your own ringtones ? With Nokia PC suite just add your ringtones to Sound > Digital folder. Or wherever you put your own songs. You will see them in the list between other ringtones.
To Rohit:
It's DiO -.- . That software is for PC only , it's not designed for smartphones. But i think there are software for phones too, it will use GPRS instead.
To Rohit:
At the moment I only answer here. You mean office documents ? Just put them anywhere on your phone using Nokia PC Suite. Or maybe you meant you can't open them ? If you changed your MMC card, probably the Office program left in the old card. Simply install QuickOffice or OfficeSuite into your new MMC card.
To Acacio Fernandes:
Gold edition ? Nokia n72 is in black and pink, and that's it. Wtf are you talking about ? Never heard of gold edition.

Yeah the phone is quite easy to scratch, gotta be careful. A cell phone case is a must for this phone. And you can change the housing and the face plate, just buy new ones. Just I suggest letting the professionals to change them.
To abiola:
Yes you can extend memory to 1gb. Buy a 1gb MMC card.
To Sim:
There are many programs. I use SUPER© converter because it's free and easy to use. If the files you have are in AVI, you can install SmartMovie and view them on your phone.

One of the good fone from nokia!good design cool features.but 3g and front cam is absent than n70.but more faster than n70 & cheaper too!.if u dont hav 3g facility its da best1 u could hav.os is also upgraded than n70.

Hi Dio, plz tell me how can i convert my pc video files to MP4 format so that I can watch them in my N72 fone. I am converting the videos with Nokia Multimedia Player (latest version). The problem is that it plays in my PC but it plays only audio in my fone and dont show the video only audio. Is there any solution Dio? The 3GP format is not good. I wanna store them as MP4 format. Plzzzzzzzzz help me out.

This is the first day I am carrying the phone. Got a minor scratch on the back already. ANy good suggestions on cell phone case? Has anyone tried to changed the housing and face plate??

Hi all, after going all through, i finally decided to go in for nokia N72, well just purchased not even 24 hrs have passed, i want to tell u some points i dont agree after reading the post.
1. the sound of the loudspeaker is good enough to be heard and better the nokia 6681, well offcourse cant be compared to sonyerrission.
2.battery life is also gud as of now.
only problem i faced is that the screen flickers for a nano sec. befor opening any progams. well thats becoz its changes the resolutions of the screen to meet the programs requriemnt . you guys must have seen in the computers too.
rest all nice fone. with FM. scalable skins support., more over its symbian.u can lot what ever u want. ha ha
