Its just like n70, its just that the music/sounds was improved. we can also call it Music Edition of n70

a little advice please.. which one(N72) do you prefer to all buyer to buy.. The one made in Finland or Made by Nokia.. Give me your opinions please.. Thanks

after all the mixed reviews of n72 let me give u one which i feel holds true . or so in my case the n72 i feel is a brilliant phone i had a choice between the w810i or this and i feel i made the rite 1.
the screen wit itz large size and colur display is amazing
also nokia has improved upon its user friendly features and given u a lot more to tak abt .. camera is good and so is the flash
radio quality is good too and music quality is pretty decent .. i dont seem to be having any problems with the phone and ya the mmc is upgradable i had a 512mb frm before which im using . itz wrking gr8..

I agree with you about the sound,have you ever compared it with 3250?
Have you tried to use other earset like Senheiser or Koss or other high class earset? Is the sound better or no?
I read that our friends in 3250 forum said that with using the high class earset than the sound from Nokia is better.
I think if you want to listen good music via earset with better 2 Mpx camera than W810 is a choice. But is is not symbian.

I transferred song from pc to phone it converted but the name shows track 1 or 2 or 3,but in pc written name of the song,so please advise me how to rename the track 1 to song name

i read in d review of dis fon dat it has limited memory.. is it tru?? is 20 mb of shared memory too less for smartfons?

To Sonia and to all people who are asking always themselves the same question: “Which phone shall I buy?”
For years ago when we heard the first news about mobile phones we were not so interested in handys. Changes in computers, cars, televisions etc devices decided the development speed in technology. But today the change in mobile phone has taken this place. People today are interested more in mobil phones than other devices (At least I’ve seen this). So this makes everyone to ask the question “Which phone shall I buy?”.
In fact the answer is not so far. You must self know what you are expecting from a mobile phone? Do you like listening to music? Do you wanna play games? Do you wanna watch your movies? Are you curious and always take photos? Do you wanna read your e-books? Are applications important for you? And what about office aplications? These are the main questions. After than you must decide for colours, shapes, size and other simple requests.
So answer first the main questions and let the answers find your correct desire.
Think for a while. If mobile phones didn’t include so many specifications, we hade to carry all as other devices. You had to carry a handbag to take a walkman, camera, a few books and a notebook for your ofis files with you, to everywhere.
I think mobile phone technology has solved this problem but has made us also dependent, don’t you think so?
Decide for one and go for...don’t think too much or you will become sick

i got this phone two days ago; it's a very beautiful and excellent phone. i even got my favourite video clips working. i can view avi and rm video clips!!! uncredible!!! i no longer need to convert my favourite video into 3gp!! besides it's a super help for business. the sound quality is magical and very clear; i'm very proud of my phone.in fact this is far better than n70 and 6230i

My friend has bought this phone. I have used it for one day and gave it back. I prefer you not to buy this phone. Because: The sound is very clear and high but the sound is so thin (altough with bass)that it disturbs the ears after a while. Photo quality is good - nothing to say. Video quality is bad. You can't play mp4 files (at least I couldn't managed) 3gp must be in low quality unless it doesn't play fluent. I also had some troubles. When I entered in caller menu it always restarted. The phone OS is not stabil. May be it has been corrected now. It dosn't support sis files,you can't find applications for this phone. Only java application can be used. Many java games play in half display since they support 176x144 screen. On the otherhand N72 has almost the half display, but it has more advantages than 6270. If you still wanna bu a S40 OS Nokia than think for 6233. At least better than 6270..

I offer you to buy a high quality memory (like Kingston, Sandisk etc). There are also noname and very cheap memories that can make trouble, so stay away from them. And don't forget to copy the files in 128 MB memoy to your 1 GB. Also the hidden files must be copied...

Even i faced the prob of log not tracking the dialled, missed and received calls, also voice quality at the time of using hands free is very low. and also my mobile get hang when i tried to use any software.
kindly tell me which software is Compatible for n72.and also tell me where i get free software- spycall and photo safe.

The telefon is recording in two qualities. The low quality format is 3gp (176x144). The high quality format is mp4 in cif (352x288 @15 fps) mode. Not bad for phone. You can dowload many programs and games without any trouble because it is still using Symbian 8( Version 2.8 = the latest update in 8.x). I'm also reading my e-books while on the way to job. (With Qreader = www.qreader.com).

My Friend has 1 GB memory and has no problem. More than half of the memory is full but it is still working well.

i jus bought the n72 2 days ago, and here are the software probs,
1.the music players repest function dosent respond.
2.after clicking a photograph/video rec ,does not respond to staying on the screen even tho it has an option to do this.
3.the snowboarding game flickers takes unnecesarily too long to load(2min), and the snake game sucks.
4.the auto voice commands r useless bcos beign an indian the auto voice regognition cant pronounce indian dialect, so its better to do the voice manually.
5.the images stored files takes time to respond and sometimes show a cracked icon as if the pic takes earlier was corrupted..but ita a false alarm and so in a while it shows everything(but it really gets annoying)
6.it doset have a EQUILIZER..which is very imp
THE PROS
1.firstly the video clarity is awesome it does its job well,,how ever recording 21secs took up 1.43mb(doesnt matter quality was really good)
2.pictures can be taken in the dark...literally
4.mp3player is really good..even tho it dosent have ana equilizer,
5. third party applications do work well even supporting the equilizer in themselves
6.series60 has alot of symbian softwares out there, if ur phone softwares starts giving u trouble u cud always look elsewhere and make ur phone a customed war hear..heheh
7.sound quallity in calls is hearable,,unless ur extremely deaf, its good enuff tho not brilliant,,its jus fine, its not that u wont hear,,hearing wont be a problem.
8.the audio adapter is better then the phone headsets itself,,go but a earplug or a heapfone by ur fav brand and plug it to ur audio adapter,also the adapter has a mic so u can talk directly into it(good thinking nokia)
9.buy a crystal case,,cos the slider alwas slides in my denims and it been only 2 days and i already hate the slider, crystal case is a must (cost bout Rs50).
10.alot of fingerprints onto the phone only when its new, a day later-there attract no fingerprints, "MAGIC" i shud say.
11.512 card works well with this phone
CONCLUSION
the phone is absolutely gorgeous, for its price, its all good(the main reason for me buyin this is the camera functions and mp3) which exceeded my xpectations(mp3 surprised me onli a lilbit, but the camera functions in complete dark-is more then astonishing)
