N72 has a great screen BUT the microphone positined at the bottom is a bad idea. I guess dirt gets in. anyway changed once and going noisy again. ask people on the other end of ur call if ur voice is clear. DO NOT blame the network it is N72. also the charging connection is now faulty and intermittent, a real pain not knowing is your phoone is actually charging!! i presume again it is dirt.

while formatting the phone memory it asks for Lock code.. wat is this lock code???????....... can any1 help me 2 format this.....rply as soon as posible.....

just i have purchased n72 and i have faced so many problems like camara hanging , voice clarity is not clear , slow software ,automatic call cutting these type of problem faced after buying 6 to 5 hrs and i have complaint to dealer at ambernath dist thane (MS), dealer said this is software problem , i will check with nokia care and and reply to u , battery dischare in only 10 to 12 hrs without any usage of phone like music , camara etc features as per specification stand by battery like is 260 hrrs and in talk time 3.5 hrs.

i bought this nokia n 72 on thursday,,
and its on restart mode from last nite :(
i was so happy to hav this mob,,
but nw i dnt knw wht to do..,
is it a s/w problm or wht..

recently i bought nokia n72. The problem with my mobile is, charging of the mobile finishes in 1 day and 1 night and it gets sitched off automatically, though i charge it full every time. I listen to only FM 4 one hr, nothing else. And i keep it locked all the time. Can any 1 tell me is it normal or there is a battery problem.

Good sound, but compared to others itz slightly low. The great thing is that the master video quality. Itz rocking.................

I have been using N72 for 6 months now, though it has gud features, the software is a problem. I got it formatted twice from company but problem resurfaces. One, it automatically stops registering redial list, missed calls etc, for few days,a nd then automatically starts. Two, it shows the message database corrupt when I try to access 'Image and Gallery' section. So, my experience has not been very good with N72

nokia n72 is a wonderful mobile and is one of my among the four mobiles. but the disadvantage of this mobile i faced was the mobile reset to the factory default, because there was a unwanted virus in my mobile and due to which i was supposed to restore the whole data from my mobile. also i was unsatisfied from the service which given to the customers in the NOKIA service center CHINCHWAD PUNE. this is because the staff working in servce centre is not technically trained and have very less knowledge of mobile. so instead of giving mobile to the service centre i myself restored the whole data of my nokia n72 but now the problem is that the mobile is working very slow but still i love my mobile. now i'm planning for nokia N95 or N81. and defenetly i will get any one of these two.

@Vikas,if you want to buy this phone than go for it.But if you want something better at the same price range than go for 5700 xpress music(in my country the price of both phone are almost same).5700 is much better in music and 5700 has got faster speed,both are symbian phones,5700 has better screen then N72.
@karthik,if you have anything important on the phone memory and on your memory card copy them to the pc using data cable.Then format your phone memory using *#7780* or *#7730* and then format the memory card also.Now set each and every default memory location to the memory card such as message memory,image and video memory and music memory.Hope this will help.
@sumaiya,install the pc suite software provided on the CD and then connect using the data cable.

hello guys.. i took an N72.. its really worst mobile in this range... the featurs are excellent but the software is worst...
the responce time is longest in its range of mobiles..
you dont belive acutal problems i'm facing with my N72..
it cant run programs simultaniously.. if you try to do it.. thats all its struck...
while listening music you cant operate your camara.. etc...
some times you cant even able to answer you call from your mobile.. the answer button will not respond...
i faced somany problems with N72 these are to list a few..
if you are looking for a new mobile at that range.. go for Sony Erricson.. walkman.. thats the best option available...
and at last as an owner of N72 i HATE it...

Iam unable to view the contact numbers after i copy from the memory card. When connected with the PC, i can able to see the contacts in the pc but not in the moble ie phone memory. Even the memory card also not showing when inserted in the pC. But i connect to the PC i can able to view it. Can any one help me to solve the problem.

i just buyed this cell phone and it is good. i tried to connect it to my pc first time and it was not connected at second time I install Nokia pc suite from its given software CD.. and now it is kool.... and perfect.it has a good camera result ...
