I want to ask few question on this phone does it take better pic than my nokia 6233 how about speaker are they louder and what about music ? i am looking between N77 and rizr Z8 which would be better i am going to buy one of them in next month so please help me

hey guyz..this mobile set is one of my favourite mobiles that i had used or i am using now a dayz..every thing is perfect...i think u can compare this hand set to N73 in sound..and in camera quality...

its a nice fone....
one cant argue about the features...
the cam is good enough for a tv fone, and for heaven's sake, its a camera fone, not a fone camera!!!
nokia is capable of makin the "perfect cellfone", but they hav got commn sense not to do so....
cuz if they do, they will go on loss!!! why???
2 main reasons...
1. what about the other fones lik 8800sirocco, n73, n95, n93 etc...? they will have no buyers at all!!!
2. perhaps the most important point, the price will be too high, and the budget users will boo the model only & only due to the price...

Honestly People, this is not the new n73. it is a completely different phone! it is not as good as the n95 because it is in the N7x series which is the cheapest of all the n-series. 2 mp camera is fine! wlan is the only thing i wish it had

Yeah, but they made a whole N series, each phone has a special function, so they can sell many models, not just one single good models that price will go down eventually, then they have to put more resource into develop a whole better device, camera, mp3,tv,wifi.... to sell it at a high price again.
While with different model, they can put a good camera in one, sell a bunch for a high introduction price, then put mobile tv in another one, then get more profit, then a large memory one, then get more profit, then on and on.
THey made more money with many models than 1 perfect phone.
And we talk about high performance phone, not people who use their phone just to talk and mms

dude below me:
be very obvious, even though nokia will make a perfect phone, not everyone wh\ould gonna buy it, remember that most users do not want to have a very expensive phone but a budget one. it's like comparing N95 with K750, N95 has better equipments than K750 but majority of users will find K750 better for it's price is lower and it makes very good performance in it's class like the N95.

They are not in the same leauge!
N77 is a tv phone, a junior version of the N92
N73 is a camera phone, junior version of the N93( eventhough people are arguing about the picture quality between the these two)
A TV phone just need an ok camera, if Nokia makes a 8mp GPS TV phone with wifi and all, who will buy other models?!

its a TV PHONE not a CAMERA phone...they aint going to put a 3.2mp carl ziess optics camera in a TV PHONE..are they???...think about it..???....

It looks like any other ordinary phones. Appearance is flat. No matter how splendid the features are, it wouldn't have a strong impact to many buyers compared to other Nokia phones.

Hey, what is the upgrate on that phone? This is a shame 4 nokia, 2mp, 60mb, i think n70me is better than this n77, really didnt like it; grate design but bad machine.

Black--> nice style...
TFT, 16M colors --> very great but weak battery, standby up to 170 h...
I think N73's still better than N77... rite??
maybe N73 is the the best phone (especially N73 ME edition)... =)

main diff btw N73 and N77 are the DVB-H TV broadcast receiver and TFT, 16M colors.....no incentive for N73 users to upgrade...

i thinked the phone is quite sexy n beautiful...because it`s colour in black...the problem is don have infa red n the mega pixel is too low for me...hopes that the mp3 is nice...

Upgrade to N73? Its camera is not even there yet.
