if north america's networks would support WCDMA 2100 + EGSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz. then this phone can be used in that area...

                  percy,

N81 is really worth buying for. i agree with Tsepz. If you want an S60 multimedia phone with great games and music with little consideration for camera, this is the phone for you. just remember, buy it at authorized nokia dealer.

The N81 is definetly worth buying, its a great and the best Gaming and Music phone out right now. :-D
The buttons ARE NOT touchsensetive, they just look like it. The directional pad goes touchsensetive only when you are in the Music Player, Gallery or Multimedia Rotating Menu the phone operates like an i-Pod when in those Menus.
Its a BEAUTIFUL phone when you see it for real its very shiny and glossy and well built, loving mine right now.

                              - only digital zoom, 20x and no autofocus.
                              - for me, not actually bad for 2MP camera, just normal for a 2MP. just make few adjustments on the camera settings to fit the mode you are shooting, don't just trust the automatic settings coz sometimes it does not produce good pictures.
                              - as i have known, it supports 4GB, but i don't know with the new firmware: V 11.0.045 if it supports higher capacity.
