just wanna say g'bye to my old nokia n81, after someone stole it. well..it's not a perfect phone but still one of the best. worked nice even after 2yrs of usage.

this is the best phone for solid gamers. n-gage, vampent emulators and other wicked symbian apps work perfectly to this phone. you just have to read and learn the basics about your phone. I have maximized its potential by reading a lot of forums and experimenting different softwares. It doesn't have an accelerometer but my phone can do landscape due to tedious experimentation. know the technicalities of your phone. it is so powerful and you'll realize how important it it to you. n81 is the best smartphone that I have so far. multimedia is superb. downside on the camera for having 2megapix nevertheless it is still good (given there is good lighting), connectivity, it lacks infrared (but who uses it nowadays)... music player (same quality as xpresmusic) just get a good quality headphones (it's not a karaoke). lastly, if you hack your phone properly, it can run windows95! no kiddin'... search the net and learn. -clincher47@gmail.com

samsung i450 is much more better and lighter than this it does not have touch keys and it is very costly instead of this i would prefer samsung i450

i had a n81 thn m y fone got stolen:(...i think soundwise this the best fone everrrrrr!!!!!! i hav a 5800 nw and comparing the two the n81 kicks butt soundwise...i am in the process of getting me another n81:)

I used it for 2years..
Now spoilt..the screen had blackout always..dont know why..it costs much to repair

I m using N81 for the last 1 year and i love dis phone i dnt knw abt other phone but i m very much satisfied wid it THANK YOU NOKIA.

I've had the N81 for a year now. i had to take it back fo repairs twice within 6 months. It freezes alot, it is made out of cheap plasic which makes it scratch easily. the key pads are a nightmare, they peel off easily. It is as heavy as a brick. the camera is bad especially at night, you might as well forget you have a camera phone. the sound is good though. i wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I've heard people complain about it alot and in most dealers they had to put it on specials, so to get rid of it.

ysn, 27 Jan 2010thanks for your opinions.i'm thinking to buy n81 or n82 now... moreN82 is a better choice..,i proud with my n81 but i have 2 admit that n82 is better than this old buddy. It's already Hsdpa, 5mp with xenon flash, accelerometer for auto rotate,..but couple of feature is quite the same with this n81.
