Pmd, 28 Feb 2009i had used N81 from last 2 week, i have accord some problem... moreits simple buddy you have copied a mp3 or a audio file or some other type of file which is damaged or corrupted to the phone memory card . so due to that reason it have corrupted the whole music library songs . you should do a master reset not a simple reset to do that backup ur phone messeges and contacts then type in *#7370# the phone will restart all ur default settings will be loaded on the next boot up then backup anything thats in ur memory card and format ur memory card (or the onboard memory if ur using the n81 8gb version) . ur phone will now work fine . good luck .

wills , 05 Mar 2009i think this is a best phone , but the disadvatage is it ha... moreits the fault of made in china in most nokia's if ur having bad battery life (aka made by nokia) its not bad at all but there are simple (small) differences in a made in finland or made in nokia phone models ... my n81 8gb is made in finland and the battery lasts two days on heavy music & network usage conditions ...

hi people its been a year sice i used this and i have to admit its far the beast handset ive ever used, good music, especially audio quality gaming inet and camera is fine...if u ask me 2 magapixels are orite so if you want a fun and entertainment loaded phone than this is the phone for you!!(from my experience)

i think this is a best phone , but the disadvatage is it has low battery back up , music good, picture quality good.

Anonymous, 03 Mar 2009GR8kinda confused with phone memory/storage. it says 12mb here but my phone has 7mb used memory and 16mb free memory how is that so? it also says here that it is EDGE capable but some comments says it is NOT EDGE capable?
another thing, whats the difference of a n81 8gb and a n81 sd w/ 8gb mem card? is there any performance issue with the 2 units. will the sd version function the same with the 8gb mass memory version, if fitted with an 8gb sd card?

hi Samuel here in SA!!! i have a problem with my phone it automatically changed language from english to dutch and now i am unable to return it back to english,the reason as i try to set it up from the settings menu it just doesn't give me the next slide or window >>> i mean the screen that has General etc. if there is someone who has ever had such a problem with N81 please give advice as i took my phone to the MTN service provider and they couldn't help me.
