Jay, 02 Nov 2008Anyone please help here, I got 2 questions to be sorted out... more1.yes,you can.firstly back up your 6500 with nokia PCsuite.then you can load it on N81
2.I dont know.but since N81 is S60,it has unlimited capacity like its phonebook & log system.but instead of note,you can see PDF & DOC format through this phone

Anyone please help here, I got 2 questions to be sorted out before making a decision to buy N81 or 6500s. Its about Memo fuction, not messaging.
1) I was using 6500s and I have created some important memo, and loaded into computer. Somehow my 6500s went busted. I wonder if N81 can load back the memo files from computer?
2) While using 6500s, I realised I can only create 30-40 memos and then I have to delete some before I enter more. As this function is important to me, I wonder if N81 has improved the capacity of this fuction?
Your knowledge would be very much appreciated.

KCostas, 01 Nov 2008I think you've connected a bluetooth headset or other audio... morehi, thx for answrng....i did connect to a bluetooth but that was a while back and i chkd and aft i use it i alwys turn it on off. stl no loudspeaker? :(

Just wondering does any1 no how to get rid of the voice thing when you get incoming calls? its really annoying but the phone is still awesome. but i don't want that voice thing telling me who it is coz i can see it on the phone whos ringing. Reply back would be appreciated thanks

shawn, 01 Nov 2008why is it important to format the memory card before first ... moreIf the memory card came with a phone, there is no need of formating. If you bought it separately, format the card using your phone, to change it for a FAT file system that the phone uses and to create folders which are necessary for a normal functioning. In case your phone doesn't see the card, use a pc to format it, but choose FAT system, instead of a NTFS system of a pc.

can any1 help me....i lost the loudspeaker (speakerphone) use. it was on the right selection key on the shortcuts. i dont know what i touched when i went to answer a call and when i went to touch the loudspeaker key it was gone and now it reads handset. i go to the option key and and reads activate handset. it should read activate loudspeaker. ?????

An aswm in this segment n............ if u wana full combi of gaming musik n net n many more aswm feature plz chek it out.......it has one less thing that it doesnot hve that TV Out feature......overall its aswm

Ok this is my 2nd comment on this handset , till now this phone is a racer. OK a new issue regarding the memory, please everybody make sure that the attachment folder in the memory card and the phone memory are empty as any received item will first be moved there after saving also till now i found no answer regarding the 4 - 8 Micro SD transflash memory card it's a matter of capacity of the sympian OS to cover it and not to face problems like hanging or crash. The site claims that the slot of the phone supports these memory cards yet there is the N81 8G and also i found out that in the 8G handset the 8 G are not belt in memory so there is a phone memory and memory card so this might mean that that the operating system can support this capacity. Also Nokia Site asserted that the phone supports Micro SD only ( No capacity is Mentioned ) may be due to the competition between the 2 types The Micro SD and the 8G type. This all i know till now and if i got any new stuff I'll post it also if there any update about this info or trials of the higher capacity Micro SDs Please guys Feed us back.

the phone is amazing with great features and you can install applications that will do everything but if you install the maps upgrade from download it will take about 9mb from the phone memory but its worthy and the performance is great and for the people who say that some of the themes and applications can't be removed, this happensonly when you install too many applications one after the other but you can reinstall the application the you want to remove and replace the old one then you will find it in the application manager. but i have a question, when i installed a cpu meter application it only reed 192mhz processor and 77mb ram so is the processor dual or what?

hi people...this is my first comment eva!...umm..just asking...is the n81 good..cuz i saw many positive posts...not like the 5610..which had so many negative posts...can anyone tell me if this phones really worth it?....PLEASE!!???

The phone is quite good the only thing that troubles me is the fuzz abut the hanging of the system ( though never faced anything of the sort till now. some say they cannot delete themes or whatever application from the phone memory although i' sure if you went to application and then application manager and then un installed the application from there ..then the files of whatever you r deleting should be poffed from the phone. also i need to know will the hanging issue be there if i used 8 Giga Micro SD or will the operating sympian system be able to cover it.
also if the sliding technique does not suit me what do you suggest for a better phone or at least with the same abilities of this phone and please note that gaming is not a thing for me on the phone....

its WIRELESS FIDELITY
we can use WLAN if our handset has WLAN certified & we are in the hotspot area
browsing internet in hotspot mostly free now

Wifi(Wireless Fast internet).Tis is otherwise called as NIC card.In most of the countries we Hav Wifi access Areas called "Hot spots". Here we can access free internet if we hav Wifi in our mobile or laptop...
U just enable Wifi setttings in ur mobile and access fast internet..
I think its enough to clear ur doubt.....:)

bought last few weeks.its one of my best phone ever!!! very cool..sliding mechanism very nice..drop it twice T_T!!! but still tough haha... music very loud and stereo...i love the 3.5mm jack...
the keypads are soo solid..Wlan and GPS available.
wat i can say is..this phone is rock me up!
