I have waited for so long for a phone like this to come out.It have a lot of function (all except infrared port),can play all N-Gage type games,have a lot of memory so i can store more musics,more games,more videos,and more photography.I think this is the best handset yet.

To Jive, if the N81 8GB will have the same audio chip like that of N91, then it's better than W960! It has stereo speakers, gaming options & can play more file formats and records better videos.

All you guys who say that this phone is bad-you are just being ignorant and stupid. IT has a 2 megapixel camera. So what? Any phone with a camera will never ever take good pictures in comparison with a real digital camera!
Every phone has it -'s and +'s!!!!!

the big question is: the sound of this mobile will be as good and powerful as the sound of nokia n91?? in headphones,of course...does anyone know??

Ok dose the n81 battery as good as a n73 the n73 and 5700 are the only 2 phones with 12 h mp3 playback
like sonyericsson (w)series have 15 h mp3 playback ok
but all of them only work with java nokia uses symbian more freaquently on there phones .
I have one question dose the n81 has a better battery like 10 h mp3 playback 4h talk time
or just 4 h everything ? Why put all thease features wi fi , 3.5 mmjack output tvout gps ???
if the battery life is not better for the music i will only recomend the 5700 or n73

koRngear, I saw your thread in Mobile review forums. Between N81 8GB & N95 8GB, I'd go for N95 8GB. I'd sacrifice the superb audio quality for extra features like GPS, TV-out, HSDPA, DVD-like video recording, & larger screen!

I have a feeling that N81 won't be so much successful like N91. People nowadays don't care even if it has the best audio quality. What they are obsessed of is more megapixels in a camera even if it doesn't produce good pictures like N80. N80 is very successful because of it's unique screen & not so impressive but 3.2 megapixel cam. N91 is not so succesful even though it's audio quality is superb.

To the guy from Thailand, I've read an article covering the events at Nokia Go Play. They say that it has the same audio quality headphonewise as N91.
I just gotta share this. I've dreamt last night that someone gave me a N81 8GB. I was so happy. I hope it will come true. :-)

N 81 is quite a cool phone. But I think, its camera should have been made with better resolution.

This phone is not yet released and people had taken photos and one more things its cam quality will beat any non-auto focus SE phone (w700i,w880i etc)

Most of SE phone user's can't afford BOSE headsets thats why they dont know what bass really means just connect your BOSE headsets with any compatible Nokia music phone you will throw your walkman player, i-pod into dustbin also your SE headphones which not comes close to BOSE headphones in any respect

Just one question for may preference...
Could this phone completely replace the KING OF MUSIC PHONE,N91 8GB,esp. in terms of audio playback (via earphone,of course) quality?? Really expecting for that...
