hi guys im 16 yrs. old from philippines . . and i own a nokia n81 2gig. for about 8months already . .and i love especially that i have the latest firmware . . v21.
i love the sound quality . .
the camera is good for my situation . .
gaming is great and fun in this phone
so over all . . this is a great phone from nokia. .
tnx nokia for making this phone . .
hoping for a new firmware release . .

They just missed out to mention Stereo, it even has a graphic accelerometer & not all phone unit's display is clumsily, may be what you got was unfortunately not well built. The phone is gr8, specially after the new firmware upgrade.

the first bad sector of this mobile is the camera is very very bad.it has much noise in still photo.and its body is very creaki its sound only best but left all are very bad i ask you all to not buy this mobile

why doesen't say stereo speakers?like on n95 or n82?eventought i heard the sound on its speakers is very loud

Recently I've purchased a Nokia N81 8GB.Its camera is not doing well originally ,the colour of the pictures r green. i went to setting many times but it has not been changed.

hunny, 18 Dec 2008what about the sound and hanging problem??What's hanging? Never happened to me. Sound is the best on the market (through the headphones, not nokia headphones)!
