dear all,
could any one tell me whether its possible to create folders in n81 8gb? i am going to by this by next week, gow is the over all performance of this cell? please help me to know the actual of it

N81 sound quality is the best in Nokia, not like the ugly looking museum artifact N91 + "I feel sory for buy it" N78

The N81 has far better audio quality than a N78. The N76 certainly has amazing audio quality, it even has true bass in its loudspeakers. The N81 and N91 share the same Toshiba DAC33 audio chip hence why both weigh quite a bit, the difference is the DSP. The N91 has a Texas Instruments DSP in its CPU which is running at 220mhz, whereas N81 has a StarCore SC140e DSP running at 250mhz and the CPU running at 369mhz.

n91 has been touted as the king of all when it comes to sound
and I think n81 is the sequel...

anonymous: have you heard the sound of n76 through the 3.5 jack? I've heard it too and I agree with chris as well as with the many others. N76 has the best sound quality not only in nseries but in all of nokia handsets. Some se walkman and samsung could beat it though.

Lol they have to come to the N81 Forum to TRY convincing themselves that the n78 is a good phone.
The only 2noobs here. there are the ones who hopped in and bought a n78 instead of waiting for the N79, and then the others who claim a n78 is better than a N82. LOL!

Dont worry, il get a device with GPS, FM Transmitter, HSDPA, BUT WITH a 5MP PROPER camera, Music Keys, Gaming Keys, and good looks, a device that can actualy be seen as an UPGRADE to the N81. A device like a N85,Thats not a simple cheap market test unit. Dont be mad just because i didnt fall for the Scam aka N78. :)

soon or later after firmwares test n 78 will become the all-in-one device
leave this black one alone in its cheap n 81 soon or later he will forget how high quality pic looks like or how soft navi wheel touch like or how fast is the 3.5G

Just realised that the 5320XM is the N81's "younger brother" lol, its also a Gaming and Music phone, just like how the 6220c is the lighter version of the N82. Interesting. :-)

Thanx but no thanx, id rather get a N82 or the proper version of the n78 which is the N79, i dont like dummy test unit phones like n78, thanx though. :)

The N81 is a Music and Gaming Flagship so it mak... moreokay, get miserable with your n81. sooner or later you'll feel the need to change that phone. while n78 users like me are content with what our phones can offer. this phone is so much better than what you are calling music and gaming flagship device! and don't tell me that n78 is not good at anything. it produces better pics than n73, better sound quality than n82, longer battery life than n81, faster gps lock than n82/n95. and don't make your statements so conclusive. n78 will still undergo many firmware revisions. it's too early to tell what this phone can become.

If you look at the history of Nseries you'd understand that each Nseries is aimed at a certain part of the market. N81 Music and Gaming, N82 Imaging, N95 All in One Covergance Multimedia Imaging device, N96 Music,and Video, and the N78. . . .nothing, just thrown in as a test unit. HSDPA, and GPS are not worth the hype you throwing around them, if the N81 was TOTALY missing 3G then it would be understandable why you're b1tching about it, its already got Wi-Fi and at the time of its announcement HSDPA wasnt as widely implemented as it is now.
