You seem to forget how SE dropt the P990, M600 and W950 users less than a year after release SE discontinued the FW updates for those phones and are STILL BUGGY!
The K850 has reported way more bugs than N82 GET OVER IT NOKIA ARE BETTER!
You are living IN THE PAST! SE WERE GOOD BUT NOT ANYMORE! GET OVER IT! The Walkman don't even have 3.5mm jacks and they can't even handle VGA 30FPS videos, SE SUCK GET OVER IT!
K850 has been disaster since DAY1!
Ive used WiFi for 2hours and my N81 survived up to 12hours!!
NOKIA FW updates are great, NOKIA even gave the older original N95 MORE RAM AND LONGER battery life! They gave the new N95-8GB FL-3 to view bigger flash websites like YouTube, and other sites, SE Smartphone don't even have FL! LMAO! Get out here Shayn SE are the past,your P1 can't even handle WATCHING VGA videos!

lol. wow one phone N82 wid a camera. how many SE phones are there that are better than nokia cameras? too many my friend.

MEgaBass is amazing, obiosuly n91/n81 got good music quality before dat se had upper hand n dey still do over oda nseries phone such as n95, n95 8gb, n80 etc.

Dont worry about there w910i w960i etc its all software upgrades that fixes these issues. not like nokia u get new firmware updates which messes up the music player n sound quality n bugs wid album art !

SE? Master of Camera & Music?? LOL!

N82 beats K850i by a mile. N82 has stronger flash, powerful OS, fast processor, increased RAM, standard 3.5mm jack and USB port.
Go read the comparison reviews about cameraphones. Expert reviewers, as well as user reviews, say that N82 is the BEST cameraphone in the market!

Music? You have got to be kidding! Have you read the reviews about W910?? LOL! Just try reading opinions on the W910 forum here in GSMArena. Most of the owners are complaining about SQ. The greatest flaw of the Walkman series. And about W960: Read the review on mobile-review. They say that all Walkman series are trailing behind the Samsung's Ultra Music series and Nokia's XpressMusic series.

N91/N81 are the KINGS of all-in-one music phones as of now. SQ is unmatched for a phone.

Shayn, I'll say it again, do your research before you post comments. You are only making yourself look uneducated.

Nokia Nseries phone battery are WEAK ! They dont even last longer than SE phones lol.. U use wifi for about 2 - 3 hours on any Nseries dat support wifi n bang der battery gone in 1 day. were as P1i n oda se wifi enabled phone battery last longer than Nokia misley batteries.

wid nokia u get so many firmware problems n ive seen dat so many times coz i repiar nokia phones everytime customers bring in phones wid software problems n such. se has less n dats a proven fact !

Nokia mislead on their products, for example on Nokia Shop UK website they put last year Best for Music n guess wat came at number 1 --> N95 lol N95 is not even good for music N91 totally kills N95 in music. I made dat aware to Nokia n guess wat dey quickly took it off lol...

wid Nokia phones u get buggy phones n da build quality is cheap !

dont forget SE are masters in Camera n Music, Nokia are only good at Gaming & Entertaintment eg interent wifi, 3G, HSPDA etc...

umm. is it just me or is this phone a gimmick.

They bring out these brand new platofmrs for mobile gaming...but i doubt there's many if ANY really solid games out there for it.

They just make it seem amazing so you buy the phone thinking you'll play psp or gameboy quality games...and then they are laughing because they release about 15 games that have 0 production value cost and are crappy.

1st of all NOKIA are known as the KINGS at making an all in one phone,ever heard of N82, N95,N95-8GB and E90? THEY ALL KILL YOUR LITTLE UNDERPOWERD P1!! May i remind you that N82, N95-8GB and E90 have about 90mb ram at boot up where your P1 with the same RAM chip has 79mb, even with that 128mb ram chip NOKIA stil have more ram at boot.
NOKIA didnt copy anything, the fact is that the N82 is being Marketed as the All-in-One camera phone so Xenon was going to be there,quit making pointless excuses!
The P1 is EASILY beaten by the N81 as well, and yes Jon2 is right P5 will take forever like W960, W960 was announced when? June/July? And only came out in early Jan 2008 Globaly, and yet NOKIA N81 AND N95-8GB WITH BETTER TECH were announced in late August and were in November,also N82 was annouced and BEGAN SHIPPING IMMEDIATLY! Get over it SE are SLOW and BEHIND!! :-D
The P5 only getting 360mhz? LMAO! What a joke,newer NOKIAS with the new OMAP3 chip are going to be running up to 1GHz!! SE are so behind! N81 has 369mhz, its already faster than P5 by 9mhz LOL! Get out of here, SE can't keep up, OH and the SE rumours are ALWAYS exaggerated lol!

N81--- What can you say
The black beauty pumped up with not many features, but all its features are top niche .Yeah sure, a cell can have GPS...Amazing Camera...list keeps going on..
But VERY FEW cells actually master in anyone category, the previous brother N80 was good in everything, superb in nothing.
N81 is meant for the youth.
EXCELLENT MUSIC!! I have compared it with all kinds of phones , w880 , w850 , w890 (NOT w960) and they are NO WERE CLOSE!1

AMAZING GAMES!! The dedicated gaming buttons make the whole thing sweeeet. This truly is N Gage Redefined.

LOOKS AMAZING!! Out of all the nokia lot, N81 (not the 8gb version , i like the blue d padin n81 :) , but will buy 8gb version only)
has the best looks.Being a slider is another reason why i like this phone, but all that think but THE WEIGHT IS VERY WELL DISTRIBUTED and it NO WAY feels like a brick (or look like one).

PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS NOT A CAM PHONE, GO FOR ITS BRO N82 INSTEAD , LEAVE THIS ENTERTAINMENT KING ALONE.

Nokia did a GREAT job with the 80 series and can be easily seen that they cleverly thought about this series and thus diversified there range, something which SE SUX at.

I used to love SE, due to NO lag (mainly) and the fact that they had xenon first.

Comparing P1i to N81 is simply ridiculous. Of course P1 has better camera. The N81 wasn't meant to be a cameraphone; you can choose the N82 instead. Nokia is simply making more options for consumers.

Video -N93
All-in-one -N95/N80
Music -N81/N91

Get the picture?
BTW P5i will take months before its release, just like W960. Nokia will probably be releasing a better phone by that time.

This phone is da bomb! Its crazy , 20hours music! Check nokia if you don't believe ! Super fast as well. New firmware makes the navi-wheel work very good as well! Touch me baby!

I loves this phone , did u guys know it has i 369mhz freescale arm11 cpu? Thats cool. And navi wheel and vga videos and ngage and 3d menu and 3d media browser and 8gb storage and wi-fi and dedicated gamin buttons and loads more! Great battery 2!

Please go away se fan's. We are not interested cos this phone is cool and reeks of sexiness. P1 is ugly and less power. If ye were so happy just stay away cos everybody thinks this phone is better, and stop winging. Go play a java game or record a pixilated video or something or we will get our brother the n95 8gb to help beat u up. Thanks . Ps the battery on this phone is best i ever had! I am a converted se user by the way.

ha ha u make me laugh.

battery lasts u long i dont finkso. Nokia's biggest draw back is der Battery. u can not use most of da features on da N81 for long n wat u knw battery dead. try using wifi for 4 hours tops ull notice ur battery will nearly be flat out. On my P1i i can use battery more than 4 hours n da phone will last 2.5 days.
Btw P1i has MegaBass n Sound quality is very good. also P1i supports 32GB M2 cards so much for da 8GB lol.


Btw Sony Ericsson will be releasing P5i:

So you had a bad unit,the N81 has the same sound quality to the N91-8gb i compared it to, N91 is louder because N81 has to go by EU Volume Reduction law,but N81 had crisper and clearer sound, ive had great battery life with my N81, absolutely great, the RAM aint a bother,with the RAM N81 has you can run about 15apps so its more than enough,at the end of the day the N81 has WAY more App support than your lil P1 with its old os9.1 UIQ3.0 apps. Atleast N81 has a newer feature pack, great new hardware, and a faster CPU to its predecessor. Unlike P990 to P1
That P1 still has NO EDGE, NO WIFI-G, OLD FEATURE PACK, it's slow,not many apps, NO Flip like P990, And it aint that good at multimedia,honestly please quit posting,come back when you have a phone fast enough to keep up with N81, OH NO WAIT! SE dont have one!!
NOKIA gave what they said, N81: Video, Music and Gaming phone WITH great battery life, thats EXACTLY what i got.
Offcourse SE never make something special,the P1 has 3yearold specs of the P990, just with more ram and slightly better cam.

U make me laugh. obiously N81 got faster CPU but 90MB RAM lol. P1i has 128MB RAM so it can open more programs than N81 8GB.

Btw Jon2 I have N70, N73 ME, N80, N91 4GB, N95 Classic and however I did get the N81 8GB but withtin that week it had problems with album art, battery, performance.

Out of all them Nokia phones. N91 4GB had the best sound quality & good battery life. N81 was a 2007 Production why is the sound quality poor? Isnt the sound quality suppose to be better than N91?

Nokia are hype, on symbian-freak.com they had a post were they interviewed the Executive from Nokia about N81/N81 8GB and the main question was is the sound quality going to be better than N91 ? Guess wat they answered yes . But i do not see any audio performance better than N91, do you?

Its just shows Nokia lie, What SE advertise you get. What Nokia advertise u dont get ! its a FACT.

BTW pay more attention in Nokia Discussion Boards (Run by Nokia) a little forum with all users problems about there handset ull notice how many Nokia users complain.

@ jordan, and others who say that camera is poor

Yes, Nokia did not put a 5MP Carl Zeiss camera on N81 8GB. If they did, there will be little to no difference between N95 8GB and this phone.

LOL! N81 has a super-fast 369MHz processor and 90MB RAM. When I still had this phone, it never freezed/lagged, not even once after opening more than 10 apps.
It seems obvious to me that you don't have any of the new N-series phones. Perhaps you either had a trauma with past N-series models or you simply can't afford to buy one.
You can't compare the 'past' from the 'now'. Nokia has greatly improved the technical aspects of each new N-series phone.

Before giving out opinions, make sure you have tried and tested the phones yourself, ok? As to not make yourself look ridiculous.
