This phone is superb! Mega speedy , and 2 mega pix aint bad, u only notice it if your prints are huge i'd say and certainly come out better than a disposable camera, except i suppose in those dark lighting. Vga video recording is also supported and that is quite good , maybe not n95 or n82 but certainly better than sony ericssons or sagem.

Unfortunately, the N81 (both the standard and 8GB versions) do not have built-in GPS. You'll need to purchase a Bluetooth GPS receiver for that.

            @ Cad

This phone's camera quality is average. Not that good but not that bad either. Just a standard 2MP camera w/o autofocus. But the audio quality is exceptional. Only a few music phones can compare to sound quality & clarity of N81. It can easily rival one of the Top 10 MP3 players in the market.

If you're an audiophile who wants the features of a smartphone, this phone is for you. But if you like point-and-shoot cameras, buy the N82/N95 8GB instead.

Thats cool man,at my high school im the only person with a N81, haven't seen any W910s but quite a few N95s Samsung D900s and SE W850, then again there are only 207 people in my highschool.
N81 camera is great when viewing pics on the screen, although night shots aren't the best they are fine.
At Cell C the N81 with 2GB is R4197 and at Virgin N81-8GB is R5099.

Wasup man, Im back, I cant believe how many people have jumped to buy the SE W910i so much, too many people have it at my high school and they are clueless about the legendary N81.Its a good thing, atleast there will only be a few of us who have witnessed its power.I WORSHIP THIS PHONE!IT IS THE BEST! I just have a final question before I buy it? Is the camera REALLY REALLY REALLY that bad? I mean if its only a little off then I dont mind. All I care about is how the photos look on the 16M screen, are they brilliant? I dont care about print-outs...people-get a digi-cam for that. Tsepz and Jon2 or anyone please help. thanx

yes this phone is faster than n95-1 because it has a faster cpu and more ram. however the n95 has 2 cpu's one of them can only be used for tv-out or 3d-tasks. So running aplications will be faster on this phone. It is also superior in cpu than e65. Hope this helps.

It seems like a great phone especially with the new ARM 11 processor but why did Nokia put a 2MP Camera not a 3.2MP? Seeing this I would stik to my E65

                                  @ singh

Nokia S40 OS is the standard OS used by most four-digit series Nokia phones, which utilizes Java. It does NOT function as a smartphone, but rather a simple phone or 'feature phone'. They run faster than smartphones (Symbian/Windows Mobile/Linux) since they only use Java.

Symbian OS is an operating system that can handle multi-tasking with ease, similar to Windows Mobile OS. It like a computer; you can put thousands of third-party apps to increase the functionality of the phone (thus, smartphone).

S60 is the most widely used Symbian OS platform, although there are other platforms like Symbian UIQ or Symbian S80.
