speakers of n73 r louder than n86 bt nt of better quality.quality of n86 is much better,camera superb i hv taken several amazing snaps,bt to take excellent photo u hv scence of light n photography.built quality of n86 is also premium while n73 jst ok r bellow.flash of n86 dual 3g flash while n73 hs 1 old flash.n73 hs 180 mhz processor while n86 hs 434mhz.n86 hs 3.5 G netwrk support while n73 only 3G. N86 screen quality is much better than any other phone in Nokia.it hs wifi while n73 lacks.n86 hs FM transmiter while n73 lacks.memory of n73 only 2gb while n86 hs 8GB inbuilt +16GB expandable. Ear phone quality of n86 much much better yar.

the speakers are a bit poor during music playback but video playback and ringtones is no problems..

new Annoying problem
message memory always changes to phone memory why is that ...
even if u put the charger it changes into phone memory ... sometimes my phone recognize the charger asif USB cable !!!

Camera is pooor?! your the first one who is saying these words. In coparison between 8 mega pixel phones it's one of the best. And about sound speakers are weak i think tooo but in headphones that's realy Good Quality . . . !

Satio is better only in design and in every feature N86 is better. In my point of view n86 is tooo much better than satio with no doubt. . . . !

I disappointed with Nokia N86 8mp.Audio Sound Quality is very poor, compare to N73,(N73 have better sound quality) camera also average performance like below 5mp,Looking Good build solid and sliding very smoothly, screen clarity also very good, Heavy, If anybody looking for multimedia this phone is no GOOD. Don’t waste your money, I am one of the Nokia fan (I very much Satisfied with my Nokia N73) I will give N 86 8mp 2points out of 5.

I lik to upgrad from my n73..i read here that the speakers of n86 is not so good as n73..then, what about it's headset? Is it good and clear? What about the display size of 86 when compared to 73? Which one is bigger? Also tell me the price of this in india..thanks in advance..

Have had some superb shots from n86 even on computer screen not just the glorious AMOLED screen on fone..It is less slippy in the hand than other fones..I can do so much with n86 its hard to keep up with podcasts,mssges been read out,games,the lot its just brilliant and zooming video recording whilst keeping the clarity is a first for digital zoom.

Thes... moreme too having no problems with n86 messages,,it lightning fast for me even email just headers selected to download just 40 is very quick..It is heavy but its got lots of stainless steel in it and camera component is heavier than normal due to its component size..It has got the lot and scratch resistant mineral glass gront adds to weight..damn good smartphone,

BAD UPDATES FOR N86
Problem with my N86 and Bluetooth handsfree after updating the firmware[ Edited ] .Options
I use n86 & jabra BT 5010. Although it works good with my old 6230, the quality of jabra was Not good when used with n86. So I updated The phone last week. Believe it or Not, the Result was terrible. Not only The problem didn't solve, but also I got some problems exactly in my phones Bluetooth. Now when I use my jabra, suddenly I lose the voice and I can't return to my phone by pushing handset button. At this time when I try to end the conversation, the phone stops functioning (becomes paralyzed) and I should disconnect the battery. I don't know what should I do

Thes... moreHi , the same is here , I mean I can open the messages immediately without waiting time , though , the N86 is a little bit slow and hangs ocasionally , but its so fast in using internet and GPS , infact , after updating the firmware from 20.115 to 21.006 , the GPS became much faster than all other devices I am familiar with . Its just that sound problem that drives me crazy , I like listening to music through the loudspeakers , and thats what I used to do in my N73 who died 2 months ago by my little son , 3 weeks ago , ive got the black indigo N86 , its a wonderful device , but I hate its speakers , I miss my baby N73 ( my son killed my baby ) .

But, i have a solution to your messaging problem. Delete all inbox n sent sms. and from settings, select memory in use to phone memory. if dat don't work out, do a reset and it will be as good as new. . . . . . . my sms or other messages gets sent in seconds n open in seconds wen i read them. very fast. really very fast.. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .I JUST LOVE MY N86. IT ROCKS !!!

VINOTH, 05 Mar 2010hi friends..now i am using n73me..i want to buy n86...it is... moreVINOTH : Look my freind , nothing can beat N73 in the sound issue , Its a great phone concerning that . N86 is better than N73 in many aspects , but the sound is not one of them , infact , n86 is one of the worst nokia devices regarding the loudspeakers audio quality , but using a headphone , its better than good , and dont forget the Fm transmitter in the N86 which have got more improvement than N85 and N97 .

ive been using this phone for 4 months already... Soo far everything is great. specially the camera! I no longer bring my canon powershot during outings.... the downside is the battery which can be prolonged with some settings. with heavy usage u can squeeze 1 day and half... normal usage would go upto 2... light usage would go for 3 days... I use its for wifi internet surfing, social networking etc... The speaker is loud but not clear... SE still are the best in speakers i guess... But if u use a headphone its definitely the best!!! Weight is quite heavy but feels really solid...Terxting is comfortable no issues with it. Im a heavy texter myself...I have the white one so its pretty much really classy and shiny in broad daylight.Software has few issues which will be fixed by more software updates (u know Nokia...) if u like a great camera, internet and all around phone u should buy this... Hope this helps :)

please help me here! i want to buy n86 already.. im currently using n82 and its the best phone ever! please assure me im not making a mistake in changing my n82 for this n86/... PLEASE HELP ME! wat is the weak side of this unit?
