let me tell you something n86 is way better than n82 full stop ok, even at night GET OVER IT PEOPLE AND GET A LIFE! The debat about n82 has been won my n86 and you think n82 is better im photography, dont make me laugh!
just cause it says xenon on the box dosnt mean nothing!

G, 16 Jan 2010I really don't know why there's still someone mentioning N8... moreN82 is better in taking photos in pitch darkness. N82 also freezes shots completely so it's better in capturing fast moving objects. N86 is great but it doesn't completely dethrones the mighty N82.

I really don't know why there's still someone mentioning N82 and "Admitting" that in some ways it is Better than N86..I mean c'mon people just read, analyze.. Again and Again Variable Aperture, 3rd gen dual-LED, 28mm Wide Lens, 8mp, Mechanical Shutter beats the hell out of a N82...
@the guy asking about the Battery:
Honestly it should Last around 3Days if you take pictures, Internet, listen music, videos ...

I have taken a photo of the kitchen about two meters away and the results are amazing the whole composition was nice and sharp and very low noise levels and the leds lit up great!!!

@ sea breeze the noise is because the iso increases in n86, higher iso means more noise,

tofi13, 15 Jan 2010i heard that N86 sometimes hanges and be slow, is this true... moreman, this is the best non-touch screen phone made by nokia till today. mine never hanged. has 1 or 2 software bugs but its gonna be solved in the next firmware update. great sound quality through earphones but average in loudspeaker. gud camera. its an allrounder phone. its really great.

GUys Calm down !!! sure xenon is waaay better it would be great to have both xenon and led for video !!
what we r complaining of:
Even when i turn my flash off again off .. horrible noise appear ... am asking nokia why this horrible noise dont appear on my n82 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if the next firmware wont fix that i am turning back to my mighty n82 ! sorry nokia that noise is not acceptable shame on u .....

kevin, 15 Jan 2010hey josh is there any new firmware will come after v21??of corse here will, this is just a maintenance version therefore nokia will work on the things in the reall version later to come, we are just going to have to be patient did you see the majore inprovmets of the nokia n900 and the nokia n97 and nokia n97 mini they got there majore firmware and so will the nokia n86 just we will have to wait! will try and find the podcast so you can have a listen for yourself:)

What the hell, u guys are arguing abt led flash and xenon flash over here, whats the point of all this, both flash have pros and cons and are handy in their respective aspect, i own both n86 and n82, both phone does take remarkable picture but n86 in my opinion does a better job overall, a significant improvement over n82, i still use my n82 thou, for extreme low light. Peace out guys, we need user's opinion, not arguement.

People here r nt just ready to accept the truth. they keep on blaming that N86 night photos hav too much noise. well i just wanted to tell them not to fight over night photos. when digi cams with xenon have some noise, then how come N86 cant have any noise. N86's LED flash is not enough for night shooting. its there just for close up pics. thats it. but still people keep ön blaming this phone, that it has excessive noise.
