So i got ths fone a fu days ago,th white one,n yeah,its a pretty cool phone,it daz wat its spposd 2 do,tho its crashed once.wana knw wen ths face detectn f/w upgrade's coming out,am craving 4 sumthn nu 2 use on ths fone.

nokia n86 is way better than w995 come on guys admit it. sounds like some people here are frustrated on purchasing a "crappy" piece of technology. i love my phone period.

ok so wot abt w995 hsupa and hsdpa speed ...w995 is way fast ....n it has been proved on many sites that w995 has better screen display in terms of sharpness and brightness...wot abt face and smile detection ....w995 has that ...wot abt exclusive google maps 3.0 which comes only with w995 ...on google site u ll only get 2.sumting...wot abt looks ov n86 so ugly ...n i hav seen both the fones the display of w995 is way better...n86 has amoled n 16m colours bt then also display is big zero in sunlight ...and yes my dear frnd on every site w995 has been given more ratings than n86 ...take gsm arena only ...and kickstand the 1 in w995 is very gud no 1 is facing any kind ov prob with it ...the kiskstand of w995 is of stainless steel ...it looks so high class bt the 1 with n86 looks so cheap of plastic ....ewwwww...w995 has youtube application...
wots sthe use of digital compass in n86 when it constantly gets disconnected...hehehe...bt i respect both the devices ...

Anonymous, 28 Sep 2009listen guys dun think i dun like nokia bt ...i have experie... morebut the n86 has digital compass, does the w995 have that? no ,and the kickstand in the n86 is more reliable than se w995 the display of nokia n86 is 16m colors while se w995 is 256k , the n86 has mass memory of 8gb and can support up to 16gb micro sd, se w995 infact has face detection and smile detection but the new firmware of nokia n86 will also have face detection. and does se w995 have a fm transmitter? no. and the n86 is a symbian smartphone while se w995 is ??????? phone. the screen of the n86 is scratch resistant , are you really sure se w995's metal finish will have no scratches??

listen guys dun think i dun like nokia bt ...i have experienced my frnd deepak has n 86 n i hav w995 when we tried our gps n86 was constantly getting disconnected after a particular interval of time..
2) my friend deepak was unable to see da maps in sunlight n it was pretty clear in w995..well wots da use oF amoled if its is nt bright in sunlight moreover go to techtree.com there it is written in very clear language that the brightness ob w995 is way better ...
3)w995 comes with home theatre speaker that r awesome ...i mean they throw such an digital sound and as w995 is a walkman fone so no comparision with n86...as w995 has left ipod touch way behind..
4)w995 has metal finish so no point of scratches ...ur fone will be spanking new ol da time...and nokia has a old look like n 85 ...
5)main drawback is n86 is very slow n hangs like 10 times a day ..when u click pics it will take total time of 6 secs...as w995 is damn fast n w995 zooms way faster than n86 ...n 86 take its sweet time to clear pics..
6) as n86 has a wide lens its a advantage as well as a big disadvantage as u wont be able to get a clear focus on closer objects ...bt its dual flash is very nice...n ya w995 takes landscpape pics n potrate pics very sharp as w995 has face detection and smile detection too...which n86 lacks...
7) u ol noe that w995 looks way better than n86....
its just that n86 is an symbian fone bt w995 caters ol da need with 4.0 walkman player dual speaker crystal clear sound ...clear bass experience headphones of w995 r awesome nokia has no comparision ....and ya all the software works on se w995 too..
trust me guys i dont say go n buy w995 straight away bt GO AND COMPARE BOTH AS I DID I FOUND W995 WAY WAY BETTER ...THE ORANGE LIGHT OF WALKMAN BUTTONS IS JUST SO CUTE ...GO N CHCK OUT W995 AND N 86 BOTH...

W995 HAS SPEED UPTO 7.2 MBPS IN 3G where as n86 has only 3 mbps speed in 3G...

hey m suspd to purchase d n86 phne tomo eve...but d dealer says d phne wrks quite slowly...eithr ways...he says it hangs quite often....n dis ws d same prob coz of wich dey stopped d productn of n85...nw is dat relli true....well..is d phne relli slow...or is it sumthin lyk it hangs quite often..would wanna hear ur comments on dis pls....

the display cannot be read in sunlight let alone direct sunlight - the camera is not that good unless its perfect daylight - my sony k800i 3.2mp takes just as good pics!
battery life is very average

This camera phone offers more experience, especially from the side of photography. N86 has a fast shutter mechanism so as to reduce the blurring of the image. N82 generation was indeed produce a very clear picture quality in all lighting conditions.
Even in a state with less even level of light, very clean shots, there is no noise or white spots.

W995 is not better than n86, how can u compare (symbian 9.3 s60 3rd) to ?????? or VGA(640x480)video to wqvga(400x240...I guess) and AMOLED 16 collor screen to 256k screen. N86 is better trust me. I this I listed enough reasons

hey Guys,
Someone in here must have already installed HelloOX on their n86...i just want to know have any of u gotten an error stating "memory card not found" when trying to install it...and if so why would i wanna install such a program on a removable memory card??...it defeats the purpose of always having it on! if my card gets damage or sum?!? anyways is that the case???

hide, 26 Sep 2009did u charge it more than 8 hours on activition of the batt... morejust go onto the nokia website an you will see the repair section an put in your fault with the battery an Nokia will tell you were to take your phone to get it checked out or repaired,as your mobile as a 18 month warranty with nokia

Anonymous, 27 Sep 2009w995 is way better in everything..style performance...batte... moreThe W995 might beat the N86 on the speakers but not on nothing else,an you have to great care of the W995 as the Stickers on the phone peel of so the N86 shows the W995 up,as my mates W995 is Sony Ericsson labels on is phones have come off,an my other mate with the W995 as now had to return it to Sony Ericsson because of a software fault
