I have watched this about 10x now and it says how carl zeiss worked with nokia and it should replace up to 95% of your fotos you take over a normal camera..

compare n86 n n958gb, n95..n86 design is modern...n958gb
design is ugly..like classic...

nutty, 19 Sep 2009i think it a very good phone top pictures and a lot of room... moreIts only going to get better as well with future updates..Nokia will improve battery and speed and rectify cam complaints by nokia fans,,not to say batt and speed are fine.Did you know the video has more detail cause its makes use of more of the 8 MP sensor.??

Would someone agree with me if I said the that design and the name if the phone are taking away from the features?
I think the bittons make it look like it is 3 years old and the number "N86" makes it sound much older then the N95.
I personally did not get this phone because of the name and the design.

I bought this phone a month ago and already drop it 3-4 times (abt 3-4 ft height) and nothing happened. Tonight, I drop this phone in the drain (abt 5-7secs) and it was heavy rain. I manage to pick it up quickly and drive home(25mins) and immediately disassemble the phone. I was surprised that the water didn't reach the board or any electronics parts. I just wipe the edge and sim card slot. That's it and its all working perfectly and fully tested. I dont use any hair dryer or whatsoever. All I can say is WOW! this phone is better than my N82.

At plemix the white ones gone down to 317GBP but now theres a waiting list for it..I bet besides sim free in uk the operators bring it out as a special and charge more for it..The other possibility is a network takes it on as an exclusive?? Its weird how now theres a waiting list now ,it must be getting popular..

DOLwm, 19 Sep 2009I find the phone good, able to meet all my needs.
However ... moreMy sammy d900 is solid but you can still wobble it,,there has to be give in a device or ware and tear will set in rapidly..The next step would be ballbearings and slider arrangement however this would add size weight and cost..There wobbly side to side and wobbly rattly like n95 ..My 500 quid plus htc touch pro moves around by 2 mm or so..
I am sure i read somewhere that one of the n-series is built on dual sliders or something of that nature,,to sum up theres wobbly and theres loose..

I find the phone good, able to meet all my needs.
However i have the problem of build quality.
Maybe it's just me being unlucky, but i have a wobbly slider.
Yes. I don't think it should be there, since all the reviews state that it's build quality is excellent. I tried to get my changed, but they said it's normal.
But i think i know better when a slider is wobbly.
Oh well.
