Hmmm, have you checked the gsmarena.co review of the W995? Says there that camera is worst than the C905 (I can't imagine) and video recording is limited to WQVGA. But if you're a fan of games and good music then the review is good...but if you're looking for an all-rounder phone...you might reconsider the N86 or the Samsung Innov8.

RE: I wonder how much is the cost for a firmware update (anyone knw?)

        - IT'S FREE...if you have a wifi connection, just turn it on and look for the software update button in the tools section of the N86! =)

N86 user here for a week now. Its a very well rounded phone, fast processor, superb connectivity, nice build and a good camera/video recording. Speaking of camera, I switched from SE C905, that phone is cybersh@yt, stay away from taht phone! As a photo hobbyist, the N86 is far from beating a conventional digicam but has more vibrant and punchier pictures in its class. You might want to stay away from sodium lighting though, it turns your skin yellowish with the LED flash, makes you look like a hepatitis patient. Video recording in low light is astonishing, the LED provides sufficient lighting in this situations. So far I have not encountered any hangs or slow response. I might post again for new features I find cool and useful with the N86.

Oh, you might want to upgrade to the latest software/firmware. Some said it caused their phones to hang (I don't know why) but mine's fine, it even improved image quality and detail of the camera pictures =)

Ive had so many problems with my N97 (on 3rd handset) that I was looking in to getting an N86 instead.
Vodaphone wont offer me one on any contract and Carphone Warehouse have recalled all stock from all but their flagship stores.

Anyone know why? Is it a technical or commercial decision?

Its heaviness is something that I like, because of that, it feels great when held in hand, it gives the impression of being solid and of good build quality.

Thanx, guys, I feel much better now when I know that it is normal to hear that double click. Only thing I dont understand is why theres no the double click on my girlfriends N85, guess its because of the special lens and shutter on N86. Is there anyone carrying N86 around the neck? I just dont suggest it because the eyelet is really crappy and the phone could fall anytime, thats why Ill have to get used to carry the phone in my pocket or find another solution to carry it. Just cant understand why didnt Nokia make a normal eyelet, as on the N82 or N85, and instead made this unusable one on such a great phone.
