Anonymous, 18 Aug 2009i would like to tell the mobile users that purchase your p... moreperhaps you're correct,i bought n86 8mp here in north africa, (not in nokia authorized dealer). and i doubt it's not made in finland although it's labeled made in finland..it's because it doesn't have product # code..only IMEI # & WLAN # are written in the label..i don't know if some n86 8mp also doesn't have product code #..how can i know if it is really fake or not??to anyone knows please reply.

i would like to tell the mobile users that purchase your phones only from the nokia authorised shops and never purchase any product from the hot spot retail chain because their products are all fake and they stops working very soon after purchase.more over they specially deals in the discontinued phones of different brands like motorola sony and samsung because these phones are providing huge profit margins.

memo, 18 Aug 2009does a memory card comes with the mobile in the box.nope it does'nt come with a memory card. But with an 8gb internal memory i think that would be enough. Unless you're a heavy downloader so you have to buy one.

N86 is a superb looking great handy phone for smart people. It attracts the most. However, there are a few questions to ask..?
When editing video clips (when cutting) it says that there is not enough memory in the phone hich I did not face with N85. Pls note that all the video clips are stored in mass memory.
Please explain in simple language what Panorama is..?
After charging even cable is unplugged still you get charging bar on display..why..?
My phone says made in Finland. How can I veryfy its acually made in Finland..? Or its genueness.
Pls let me know answers for these.
Lastly I once again than Nokia for me to have this fantastic model.

hey people who own a N86 may I know will the handset hang or freezes?
I went down to the mobile shop earlier. The salesperson ask me not to get a N86 in case I might regret because it is so much of a problematic phone.
He said his N86 battery's bar is still charging eventhough he had plug out his charging cable.
Can someone tell me so far are there any problems like this?

I had N95 8GB, and at that time it was great. Meanwhile I used N82, N85 and have bought N86 a week ago. N95 had useless LED flash, N82 had a great xenon and N85 had a very good dual LED flash. But N86 will always heavily outperform all listed phones when taking photo in low light without flash, and its dual LED flash is surprisingly strong. The only advantage of Xenon over the dual LED on N86 is that it can freeze the picture and thats it. Not to mention that the N86 flash can very well be used to act as a videolight which is impossible with xenon. I just hope Nokia makes something like N96 12MP in the future with both dual LED and xenon, with HD video recording, 2,8 OLED display of VGA resolution, great sound quality and that would be a perfect phone. But for now, there is not such thing like a perfect phone, so we have to choose between options. I chose N86 and its worth every cent that I paid for it.

hey guys i do love my n86 right now, but is still have my n82. maybe i could make my own photo comparison of both phones...just don't know how to post a link here where you all could see it :-)

I wouldnt say that to me as I know alot about mobile phones and there features, and I also know alot about photography as well...... more than you......
so dont say that, you dont have to be nasty all I meant was that the nokia n96 was very buggy,
but with the lastest firware it is what it should have been when it first came out!

This phone is the best phone i've had in a long time since da last best phone was nokia n95 8GB. Recently bought nokia n97 which has buggy interface...cheap construction. no i have both n97 and n86 and i gotta say...n86 is SOLID. user interface is top notch and very very responsive and the build quality(construction) is AMAZING... i had n 8600 LUNA before...n the construction of the n86 is very similar to LUNA...SOLID and reliable.. everything from comfortable keypad to amazing camera.. this phone is definitely a must buy for ppl who loved the n95
