Everything else can be fixed by firmware updates, which will make it possible for N86 to surpass Innov8, since N86's only weakness is software, not the optics, which ARE superior to the one found in Innov8.

well personally, i think that its not the thing about whether the phone or gadget was made in china or not because as compared to the apple ipods and iphones which were also made their has a good quality. what you guys should be more aware of is from whom have you bought the phone/gadget. here in the philippines, we are encoutering a lot of people all across who are saying they have this nokia warranty, and yes, its true they do have the warranty but im thinking that why is it still faulty. though they have the warranty, normally weeks or months after youll see the difference. so what i decided to do is just to buy from original nokia centres also, from good mobile companies that it has a team up with.

nokia is a good phone. ive been thru samsung, sony ericsson, motorola, iphone and even blackberry but i can say nothing beats nokia for me. its just simple, the way they meet my necessities are just one of the most important factors.

but on the issue of nokia going back to finland's hands, i dont see any problem with that. for as long as it would be for the betterment of the consumers, why not?

samsung, sony ericsson, motorola, iphone and blackberry are also good phones but then nokia would really have a spot for me. i am a very meticulous person when it comes to taking good care of my gadgets especially phone. so its not on the part of the user but as i see it, the life span of the phone is based on the users' usage as well as to how the manufacturers have come up with the phone.

      thanks!

Based on the camera test conducted by GSMArena, it seems that Samsung INNOV8 gives better image results than N86 8MP. Go check page 7 of the review.

i don't know what's the problem with you guys but all my 4 nseries phones are made in china and i've never had any serious problems with them, not at all.so i don't believe that made in china phones are inferior in quality.

the review says 'The screen is hardly readable on a bright sunny day' but i live in bright sunny Singapore and find the n86 perfectly readable.

Here is the so-called king of cameraphones, months late than the other 8MP phones, and still its image quality sucks and it lacks smile/face/blink detection. Do i need to say any more?

My advice is to go for S8300/Innov8/C905 than wasting money on this.

My N95 8gb was made in Finland an had no problems at all with it, 3 - N86s Made in China an All Faulty, just been on the Nokia website an told them about the Faulty N86s an can"t wait to see Nokias reply about the Faulty mobiles an there excuses,i am sure they will be some so of excuse, but the only thing they have got to realise China companies are not reliable an trustworthy, hope we do get some N86s made in Finland but will wait to see if the White N86 is Made in Finland an have a look at the N97

Thats its now with the N86,i have 3 N86s in 5 Days an All gone Faulty,so everyone want the N86 please be aware that the Centre button on All my 3 N86s just Fronze all of a sudden could not text or change feature,The N86 buttons are to Small to press except for the Menu Button an really wanted this to be a good mobile upgrade from my N95 8gb but the N95 8gb easily outclass the N86 in nearly every part, the Speakers are better an on either side of the mobile to better sound from the Speakers, the Buttons are alot easier to press,an the Screen alot bigger,so Nokia please stop producing mobiles in China as they are very unreliable nowdays,it might be cost cutting but your customers want reliable mobiles instead or people will buy an alternative mobile instead an Nokias Sales will get Worst instead of Better an you only learn from the Big Mistakes,by doing the wrong thing,Go back to Finland Nokia PLease
