Xenon is the only type of flash that emulates the natural light so it's ideal for photography. If you've been using N82, then you understand that no matter how intense and bright the illumination that Xenon gives, the pics and colors still come natural as they are.

There is already a camera comparison among N86, N82, N97 and INNOV8. N82 still beats N86 when it comes to taking pics in total darkness with the flash on. The dual LED flash on N86 is still weak and still no match for N82's Xenon flash. But N86 beats them all in the rest of the tests. N86 makes great photos in every lighting condition but not in total darkness. You can find it on allaboutsymbian.com.

likexx, 20 Jun 2009Why people care too much about the flash? Even if it's Xeon... moreyeah am not worried about the flash.
xenon can be way too strong and make the whole photo look pale in colour.
prefetional photograghers dont rely on there flash they rely on the natural light
notice that in wedding the photogragher will not use the flash but rely on the light.....

listen am gettin that fone in da ... moresaw some night shot on flickr (tupe in nokia n86 photos) they are really empressive let me tell you, they say the 3rd generation dual led flash is the brightest flash in a mobile they have ever see.
and I can assure you that is right as I have done some reserch on the dual leds and found that they are 60% brighter then standed leds and even brighter then the nokia n82 xenon flash...... I was really suprised as I thought the same....

My N86 starting freezing an buttons not responding so took it back to Carphone Warehouse so they gave me a new one ,but same again,just tuning in the Radio an there was not response from the buttons so took the back an battery out to restart it an phoned Carphone Warehouse about the Problem an said they will replace this one as well,if it happens again i will stay with Nokias best ever mobile the N95 8gb an wait till a better handset becomes available

this mobile is adapted from N85, the only difference is the camera which is more developed. but is is a good mobile for people who are graving for change.i am going to purchase it anyway.

listen am gettin that fone in da comin weeks and so worried that ma old n82 takes better night shots as most of our fotos u know at night parties discos cafe .....etc
