Anonymous, 06 Apr 2009why is so important this xenon flash??? how many pictures h... moreall digicam company used xenon flash, like canon, sony,kodak,samsung,nikon,olympus,casio,lg,panasonic,benq,fuji,and others coz led flash is a joke,only nokia used led flash on their camera

N86 loverz, 05 Apr 2009Well, maybe the era of xenon flash has been ended? Cheer fo... moremaybe but the Xenon flash will remain the best flash created for mobile photography.. its just that Nokia resorted into bringing the most well rounded flash at a cheaper price.

why is so important this xenon flash??? how many pictures have you take in the dark??? the dual led of n85 is brighter than the xenon of lg viewty,for example. i've tested this by myself. the dual led is incredible strong on n85,and so will be on n86. when you take photos in the dark,at a party,or in a club,with people within 3-4 meters,the dual led is very efficient and don't "burn" the faces like xenon do. so why are we talking so much about this flash. think about daylight photos,they are more important

N82 is the last high-profile Nokia device that ever had Xenon flash. There will be no more Nokia phone that will come with a Xenon flash. Production of Xenon flash is very costly. That's why Nokia resort to the cheaper dual LED flash instead. I've read it from womworld.com/nokia.

This phone is good. This phone has first nokia 8mp camera. I think this phone is gorgeous and fantastica. So i have dicided to buy this phone coming soon. Nokia is good phone maker that's all.

i'm a big fan of xenon that's why i have N82 but it has also limitations like not being able to use it in video at night or as simple as torch.
as of the moment let us not judge this 3rd generation LED flash, maybe it can give bright result in night images, not as good as xenon maybe but then video capture at night will be covered so it will be like getting two things in one.

its funny how the phone is called the nokia n86 8mp, but in some pictures of this phone it says nokia n85 8mp

It looks like xenon flash is going out the door both for cameras and camra phones,
I know cause I read an article about it!
