Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970we won't know until both phone come out. more mp doesn't mean better picture quality, as mp only make bigger picture, bigger file size, and more small detail. lens quality is more important than bigger mp, camera 8 mp can have better picture quality than 12 mp if the lens quality is nicer. well, i do hope SE Idou will bring us good camera quality as we expected (we sure have high expectation of it). I think, N86 is quite a boring phone, and i don't like the widelens, it just not really suit me

if it has a navi wheel and a xenon flash, its better. :p

Well , just can tell its another Nokia products .nothing special.a comment its up to you all buy or not , i think that nokia shall concern more on their model the appearing of the phone . consumer (may not all) but for me i put main on important specs 2nd is the appearance specs doesnt run far but the appearance of nokia sometimes are no fight with other, etc HTC/SE/APPLE. An apperance that make people on the streets knows you . Like iPhone . i always wow at them(silently).

common.. an 8mp phone with led flash.. my 5mp n82 has xenon flash.. you get so much joy taking pictures at night with it..

If y... moreYou are not a photographer that is why you can not spot the difference in perspective distortion between a normal and a wide angle lens. Your pair of eyes are simply not trained for this.
For landscape, this wide angle is fine, but for portrait which a casual shooter normaly do, a wide angle is not recommended unless of course you do artistic portraits wherein you deliverately distort the perspective of your subject.

That clearly shows how much more distortion there is with the N86 photos... GSMArena even emphasize this idea. Man, you'd better reconsider.

The concept is foreign and very remote, unreachable to your understanding. Why not explain it in your own words to justify your wide angle lens is better.
Open your eyes and do not be blinded by your love of this phone, in that way you will gain more knowledge.
I am a Nokia (old dependable N72) and a SONY ERICSSON (X1) user, in fact my family use all Nokia, but just I do not buy the idea that a wide angle lens of N86 is better than others because almost all of camera phones are already wide angle that is why pictures taken are distorted, disproportioned.

If you want Xenon flash, then you don't have the LED for the video. You gain some, and you lose some. Personally, i prefer phones with LED lights

nokia phones design wise always like the same.. doesn't change their design at all. always using symbian format with the same old interface.. i guess nokia is gonna get phased out very soon..

here 50% r nokia fan,40% se fan n 10% another!!nokia is like that they constrain even nokia haterss nxt 2 them!!thats why nokia is best sell ever n se fan r not satisfied even by getting 12mgp idou bcoz nxt to thm is nokia with some quality megapixel!!!n thats why they r commenting here n trying to criticise this phone...but all efforts were uselesssss will be......!!
