My N82 died on me after less than a year of a moderate use. I didn`t even drop it once. What a waste. So no more Nokia for me. They used to be good 5 years ago, now they simply fail to keep up with technology and completely not user friendly. Val.

    Nokia 86 8mp, e75, e55, 6710 navigator after this what next? Maybe n81 upgrade or ngage phone upgrade, please nokia make another phone like ngage, it would be interesting if nokia make with new spec n design, hope so.

      Dave, 01 Mar 2009ough.. those pictures are not too good but i dont blame ... moreSorry dis phone is not comparable wit ur se C905 n innov8.1st thing u hv to go through technical specification n in technical way it is stronger thn ne other phone.n dont u know dat quality photo 30% depend on photographer skill.may b u hv seen c905 n innov good picture which 30% credit also goes to photographer skill.those c905 n innov r old phone n lots of pic r available of thm let it com n see hw quality pic can provide dis1.i hv som pic of sony cybershot 10mgp,they r quite insane n not good bcz thos pic were not shooted properly n for dis,if ne other person say wht a worst pic!thn its his misunderstandin.i can show u som pic shooted by a ordinary nokia phone 6220c those hv unbelievable pic quality in macro shoot.n seeing those,lik u i can say also its da best camera phone of da world cz i hv nver seen photos lik dis frm ne other camera phone.but its not relevant.i hv nver seen its my prob bt N82 can tak mor beautiful pic thn 6220,dats da fact whn u go through technical specification not through wht u hv seen or not..u hv seen mor quality pic of c905 n innov8 on da other hand u shd bear in mind dat u seen not me or ne other person.so stop see saw! n go through technical way cz expert photographer choose technical way not see saw.n whn u go through dis way u must find N86 stronger thn ur c905 or innov8.bt if u r a nokia hater thn if nokia put canon DSLR camera chip sensor n lens into thr phone thn u wil say huh worsttt.bt we always choose technical way.checkout:end of da page u can see som 6220 macro shoot: http://symbian-lifeblog.com/tag/macro

            those pictures are not too good but i dont blame you coz maybe i have seen many pictures that have better quality than yours so those are not special anymore for me but N86 as the first phone use complete aparture so i appreciate that...

            this phone camera quality hasnt compared with the other 8MP camera phone out there like c905 and innov8..so be a patient person to make a jugdement' this camera quality is better than the other camera phones'

                wow your explanation is great but i have seen the picture sample,the result is it has bad picture quality..so sad!!

                your aparture is very complete but they are low quality, reguler camera aparture is better than yours out there.So sad!!

                dont be influenced @ one thing if you want to get a better picture quality, many variables to get a good a picture quality. thanks for your information

                          At initial leak, I hated this phone simply because it looked like another by-product of N85. But hell... search for N86 in youtube. You'll fall in love with it. I can't wait for its release!! Gonna get one on the first day!!! (but I really don't know why Nokia even bothered to release the black one out....Everyone is gonna go for the white one!)

                            I think this nokia phone among the best in 2009. E55 and 6710 navigator also the best phone from nokia in 2009. Don't know which one to buy.

                                Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Mate... you're way behind in technology. That analogue or mechanical lens apperture you are talking is a thing of the past. Modern miniature cameras have lens with fixed fully opened apertures... amount of light processed by the imager is controlled by a CCD shutter, a continuously varying shutter according to the amount of light entering the imager.
