compare to some CHEAP EXPIRE camera phone
N86 aperture can change automatic at F/2.8 F/3.2 F/4.8
those cheap phone aperture is FIXED at F/2.8
so cheap
object in bright light
the size of the aperture decreased
N86 aperture will automatic change to F/4.8
cheap camera phone which FIXED at F/2.8 will not change, cause it is FIXED
N86 will produce a sharp image in bright light compare to those camera phone which it APERTURE IS FIXED
most of the digital camera / digital slr camera APERTURE will change according to the light
APERTURE controlling the light amount entering the image sensor

i don't like any nseries phone, i have a very bad experience because all of them are painfully slow. i like sony ericsson phones more because they're fast and reliable

Expansys have posted the Nokia N86 8MP for an online pre-order with an expected release date of July 22 2009. Quite naturally, the reputation of the store and the rather hefty price seem to attract attention.
Advertized only in black, the Nokia N86 8MP is offered at the whopping price of 625 euro (incl. taxes), which is almost double the expected price of 375 euro before taxes posted by Nokia.
Anyway, the first 8 megapixel shooter from Nokia, which we managed to get our hands on last week, was expected to start retailing in Q2 but getting a nod on July is not bad at all. The price is quite steep but that's not unusual for early pre-orders and it should drop down to more reasonable levels once the phone hits the market.
Besides the pumped up camera specs, the Nokia N86 8MP boasts 8GB of internal memory, a microSDHC card slot, a 2.6-inch OLED screen, FM transmitter, Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity, a 3.5mm audio jack and TV out. Quad-band GSM and tri-band HSDPA support are also present for a truly worldwide voice and data roaming.
Now what am I supposed to understand from this?
Is the price gonna be 375 as initially announced or 625 as announced recently?

The price that was initially expected to be 375 Euros is now officially announced by Nokia as 675 Euros.
That really disappointed me.
If not I might buy this mobile as soon as it hits the market.

Nokia releasing 8208 a dual slider an looks a very good mobile indeed but i think its just for the Chinese networks,but looks alot better than its "N" series mobiles,it seems mobile produces always want to succede in China more than Europe ,but we always end it paying more for any mobile released in Europe

I really admired this mobile until the price was announced as 675 Euros.
I think GSMARENA should include a column for Price as the 4th Factor in voting results which will help users realize the worth of the mobile for the amount they spend on it.

thanks for telling me IDOU using Industry's SMALLEST and THINNEST lens module
i know what image idou will produce, a image full with noise ,
if smallest and thinnest lens can produce a great image, those spy camera will not produce a lot of NOISE and BLUR IMAGE
se fans just know how to cut n paste the information
and donno the information is all ABOUT pixels,size,resolution

Nokia N86 has really good features.but the i really dint like is screen size 2.6 is small comapred to N96.and the phone look is really cheap.well according to me so far best design phone for me is N95 8GB

Sea-Breeze, 25 Feb 2009Hiii alll am back again for replying all people claiming i'... morei agree to all of ur comments. since nobody has the phone in their hands and still commenting on it without even knowing the technical details and jst getting fooled by specifications. i only like to read comments from people like you who have in-depth technical knowledge. so unless there is new image sensor for phones does not come up, all these megapixels are useless.so we can wait for new phones with new sensor and dont waste money just on this crap megapixels thing.
