this design doesnt follow the N81 -.=" oh please look carefully dude. it follow N97 design and i think nokia nvr disappoint me before. oh well but i wont be getting this , i getting a n97 (:

To All u guys making so much of noise criticising NOKIA ...i hv just abt used over 500+phone models of almost all the brands ...and the verdict NOKIA is the best..Most user friendly, sturdy, feature packed, caters across all segment of users...NOKIA makes sensible phones they are not flooding the market with just touchscreen phones ....NOKIA is the market leader Period !!!

dee, 21 Feb 2009worst rating for N86 in 8MP catagory.. i expected so much. ... moreWell the ratings are chosen by the public, not GSMarena. They are just hating the phone! I have now clue how people can vote on the performance if it hasnt even been on the market.. Feature-wise, this phone is amazing! OLED screen, wide angle lens and every type of connectivity possible.. People are definately hating.

i dont belive how ppl say LED flash is stronger than Xenon !!!!!!!!! unsensable and very misleading what crap r u sayin !!!!!!!

who cares, this phone is already old and ugly! No innovation! Small screen, will keep my black N82, cause i wont have better pics quality at night, and same video recording, who cares about the 28mm wide angle lens, Samsung Omnia HD is the future!!!

There's lot a new features in this phone. N86 8mp have first nokia 8mp camera but different from the other mobile camera cause it cames with 28mm wide angle lens. It also has camera shutter and lens protector. So many features in this phone like digital compass fm transmitter usb charger kickstand scratch resistant body and screen with metal glass. I like all the features and i prepared for this phone by saving to buy this phone.

Nokia had the best 5mp camara, i am sure this will be the best 8mp camera available. Nokia takes a while bringing in some technologies (touch and 8mp) but when they do they do it right. The word is the led flash has similar or even better performance than the N82 xenon.

I would say this phone has garnered so much of attention in just 3-4 days that the rating it had of close to 5 for all 3 factors, namely design, features, and performance has gone up by almost 1 full point each.
It looks like people are finally realising what a quality mobile this is.

looking a little closer a better at the live pictures and videos, the phone is not ugly at all. i mean, i say this cause when i first saw it i thought it was so horrible!, however i would never buy this phone.

Man, N93i is nothing but a brick that can be opened up and swivelled.
This phone now looks classy.
Also one of the earlier comments that this mobile might just be the forerunner 2 some better upcoming Nokia model has got me really excited, after all with Nokia you never know what they might have up their sleeve!

Since it has a 8mp camera i expected it to look like N93i. That way it would ve been really cool. Kudos to nokia though.

Wait for it to come out then judge it. And take my word, it's not a loser.

In the prototype shown at WMC, they used "N85 8MP". But now Nokia has decided to call it N86 (I guess because they don't have anything more to show, so they now pretend it is a new phone..LOL)
