J, 31 May 2010I had read the opinions here, this phone really like scratc... morewhatever it is but it is glass. If you'll deliberately scratch it, it wont resist it.
Scratch resistance means it is resistant to scratches in that come in normal use. If i would rub it against sand, obviously it will be scratched.
Actually it is much better than plastic screens.

I had read the opinions here, this phone really like scratches, i.e: the glass surface (although it said Scratch Resistant)and the bottom keypad (if you slide from bottom so many times)and extra wobble thing.
How bout the Small Keys Slider (Top Slider Keys) and the Camera Lens?
Are there problems on performance if you keep many files on this Mass Memory?

guys,
i just made a back-up of my all my contacts since i have to upgrade my sim from 64k to 128k...now that i have the new sim in, i tried restoring my contacts and then saved it on to the phone memory but nothing happened...am i doing sumthing wrong here? help!

via inbuilt speakers it is tiny and lacks bass, just because there is very less room around them. Speakers are same as n82 but less room degrades its performance.

I've had this phone for 9months now, its a great phone and with the new ovi nav free it's a hard phone to beat.
My screen has a small scratch on it, so not as scratch resistant as you would think.
As others have said the camera shutter button is hard to press but you get used to it, and the camera takes pictures to rival most 8mp cameras.
The FM transmitter is very handy and I use it alot in the car, beats messing with cd's :)
The screen is big enough for most things, but prone to finger prints.
Nokia N86 is the best phone I have owned upto now, and I have owned a LOT of phones.

BTW, how do you download ... moreThat 50 mb problem is with built in email client as when downloading attachments using it, we cannot go for a file of size orethan phone memory, since at first it saves retrieved file to c:.
using browser, there is no such problem

Are there problems on performance if i save alot files on this Mass Memory?
BTW, where's the microSD slot? I can't it see on the side body? Or inside the backcover?

When sliding the upper part of the phone place your thumb at the center of the screen and not at the bottom of dpad. Ive noticed that when pushing the phone at the later, the back panel of the slide scratch the keypad.

As i type texting atleast 150 msg... morenokia might have built the keys to bear such usage, but too much of sliding will produce a lot of scratches on back side of slide and even your keypad will be scratched (two hair scratches can be seen over my '0' key).
those symbols bear nothing important. I actually posted some ascii characters which were converted to their respective codes and nothing else.

Siddhu, 27 May 2010Hey can you tell me does your mobile's slider wobble or not... moreyes lower part wobbles a little, but theres no need to worry about that. As it used to wobble in that way since day one and after 4 months its as such, not increased.
secondly, back part of slider will get scratched with time since keypad covers are projected a little, and they slide against slider. Mine is also scratched at that place, but its not too harsh.

Coz i bought this mobile 2 weeks ago and the slider wobbles lil bit towards right from the bottom corner.. And are there any scratches beside the screen when slided ? I mean back part of display when the display is slided upwards..
