The tv function can be used for free. It requires that there is digital-tv broadcast in your country....at least most European countries have had that for a few years at least. Most developed countries are sure to follow.

Stop posting false information about N92 SE fanboy! With N92 you can watch live digital tv, exactly like you do at home. N92 is the king of all phones.

Im sorry if i will destroy some peoples dreams but:
DVB stands for digital video broadcasting,
DVB-H is not the standard TV u watch home,forget it,
nothing good is free in this world,
its another service provided by the mobile networks,
every service provided by them is "contra cost",
that means exactly like the 3G,
u have to have contract(it doesnt include pre paid customers)
and monthly a fee,charging ur contract and then even pay extra services depending on ur use,
there are similar services already in other 3G networks (and people have mobiles than can be used for the same purpose and still dont know that)
but DVB has superior quality and the right avdertising...
PS1: how NOKIA has the first DVB phone since LG V9000 is already lounched?
PS2:is it better for a company to be user friendly or "profit" friendly?

I found a link that show's the use of the TV and the phone, the operating system seems way faster then the n90 and the TV seems EXCELLENT. I think its a must buy for me!

I think this is the BEST EVER PHONE IN NOKIA BRAND.I wish to entertained something can nokia make a it true and show me this.I request nokia company tp do a phone same as nokia n-gage qd BUT WITH CAMERA.....THAT'S ALL

n90 have the highest display resolutiom but its 262.144 colours but n92 is so close to n90 with 320*240 display and it has got 16m colours its a very big difference.and somebody said tv feature needs price .it can t be like that because n92 has got tv receiver so you can use it like a handy-tv it is the best phone i've ever seen.my advice be ready to see n92 in everyone s pocket

this fone is cool and the features r gr8 but the tv is not real u have to pay a monthly or a 24 hour sevice price for watching thats bad

Hi, lets get the facts right...this phone is heavy but it looks good and has some nice features inc symbian 3rd edition etc HOWEVER the TV system is not proper TV but is pre-recorded footage i.e. "channel 4" on any of the mobile phones that are coming out is not the "channel 4" on your home TV but is actually called "channel 4 mobile" and is only highlights of the previous days action etc but one Network is goong to be covering the cricket between England vs Pakistan on TV mobiles but only stuff like that at the moment!! The TV footage is free upto the end of January 2006 and then there is a charge. However I must admit that even though this phone is heavy its probably one of the better ones coming out -

ericsson,the company that invented bluetooth,70%of the tech used in batteries of all mobiles,
the first company with colour screen in europe,the first with MMS,
the first with camear foto,the first with symbian,the first European with 65k display,
the company wich was developing batteries for submarines and electronic systems for fighter planes is just friendly user?
get a life and get some facts.
u can say this about NOKIA,
these times NOKIA were a rubber boots company!!!!!
they are a company based on users,
they have developed from boots,to phones, electronicks and then mobiles only because they are friendly user and now how to sell,
NOKIA phones were always flawless in design but come second in tech,
even now after using so many resources they fail to develop technology(ex this so called TV phone,wich isnt what u think it is)
in spite they are the most rich company after the profits of its victims(thats includes u NOKIA fans)wich paid overpriced,large dimensions phones phones,just because they are more expensive than others!!! and look nice,
NOKIA won so much becuase mobiles became a symbol of social status,
the more "expensive"u have the better u r.
Siemens isnt the best in the world at any category,
they can hardly be compared to a colossus like SONY,
SIEMENS as a "German" company is supposed to have reliable handsets(wich really had a period of time) and cheap because of their ultradeveloped mass production industrial system,
about tech tell what SIEMENS ever created in the mobile(totaly different team)field?
even their operating system is created from NOKIA(SERIES40+60)
NOKIA as a company is extremely organized for advertizing and managerial deals,
to get sure their mobiles will have the upper hands,they created soft for networks and operating system for mobiles to be perfectly compatible with their own devices but not with the rest, so they could totaly control the market,
these managerial deals at the begining werent profitable at all but eventually(combining with exclusive advertising,design,overpriced sells and to many models at every category)
gave NOKIA the total control of mobile market,
their supremacy may be fadding now,but they still hold the keys

are u sure , bcoz i m planning to buy this phone just because i thisk i can watch tv programmes on various channels, just like we do on regular tv in our home, But if it is not like that definately then i will not buy
this folding brick of 200 grams.
