To Steve J,

if you are rich enough,i would suggest that you just ask nokia or any other phone manufacturers to make a customized phone for you...as if you are so good with specs and that as if you know so well how to make phones...such a critic huh!!!

how do you think a company could sell their other models if they are going to build a model which already has everything or will satisfy the needs and wants of all their buyers...plus...satisfying everyone at the same time is not even possible...

im afraid you are already loosing your logical mind guy!!!

      to n93i:
Hello, if you want the N95 you have to wait a few months until release, like you said. According my informations the N93i will cost 50€ more. That means 600€ before taxes.

ehm..thiz phone is of the chain..but the main problem to me is that..the mirror effect..wat if u smudge it..or maybe u broke it..other phones, if fell, it would probably be broken inside not into piecez..i could jus imagine if it fell..and broke into piecez..but..overall is still an awesome phone..but, sad story for those who already bought N93..

Its n93i which came from n93! Pipz have been saying that the O.Z. should not have been included. But if nokia were to actually had done this then all of you would still be screaming at them asking to include the O.Z. Its not a new model so very subtle changes are expected to be seen. we can say that nokia somewhat gambled in this "upgrade" version of this phone and all we can do is to support them.

well it looks dashy than N93 from outside but almost the same size and weight bothering me. O.Zoom is useless (as it destroys the pic quality). and battery life is lesser than Orig N93... thats BAD !!!

Looking at the spec I am puzzled. Why is the battery weaker than the N93's (only 950mAh compared to 1100mAh for the N93)? The N93i is multifunctional and needs a powerful battery. The N95 has higher specs but only weighs 120g compared to 163g for the N93i. Could it be that the optical zoom is the culprit causing the extra weight? The O.Z is not needed- the noise of its mechanical motions comes out in recordings. Besides 3*O.Z is no big deal: people are more interested in picture clarity and reliability. Nokia should have traded off the optical zoom for a lighter weight eg 120g. The N93i at 163g is too close to the weight of the N93 at 180g. Talking dimensions, Nokia have tried, but the N93i is still too wide(108*58*25mm) and is even wider than the N93(118*55*28mm)!! The width should have been no more than 50mm. Since Nokia made the decision to reduce weight and size they should have dived in and made radical changes. The 16M colour screen is a welcome improvement but I have never heard any complaints about the N93's screen. Are we just talking numbers or is there a vast difference between a 16M and a 262144 colour screen?? I'll bet that if they could attain a 480*640 pixel screen it would make a more telling difference. All in all I cannot see enough reason to upgrade to the N93i. I am happy with my N93 although I have had a few problems with the softwear. I love the solid structure and the generous tactile keyboard. It has a presence like no other phone. However my wife needs a new phone and what better excuse to extensively explore the merits of the N93i. My number one question: is the phone reliable??

ive been looking at alot of coverage of this device and i dont see the left and right microphone like the n93 has. does anyone know if this device still records stereo. i wonder if the mics are hidden to reduce over sampling of audio like my n93 doesnt ;p

i don't find any major differences between n93 and n93i...

I kinda hate the structure of the nokia n93, my cousin Broke one using it....the camera doesn't activate if u don't rotate the screen...

                        and it is large

N93 was a bulky piece of cr-p very overpriced, and totally inconsistent of ...
well.. anyway, N93 was BIG BRICK of crep.
                            N95 That's the GOOD Sht.
I have N80! and it's rebuilt many times, so i consider it HAND Made by now! including increased amount of built in memory(a lot's of research, reprogramming and soldering was done!
Still have a short battery life, but hey- i've bought a dosen of them! actually 4 original ones, and 6 INCREASED CAPACITY Ones ( 1100MaH) they are cheap! for 35 dollars(total) i bought 4 extra capacity batteries!
so i'm allset! and it's plentiful of functionality and features!
Upgraded the Firmware to the latest version- and the phone WORKS! i mean WORKS like no Other phone i've ever had!

Again? WTH, the Nokia N93 came out less than a year. Man, I cannot keep up with Nokia. Got the Nokia N93, I'm happy already.
