Nokia X10 and X20 start receiving Android 13
Nokia released the X10 and X20 low-end smartphones in mid-2022 and now both are getting the latest Android 13 update also containing the November 2022 security patch. The rollout seems to be gradual, so not all markets are getting it right away and you might have to wait a little.
The Nokia X10's new firmware version is V3.270, while the X20's is V3.360. The changelog isn't very big, but it points to one of the most notable Android 13 improvements.
Theme support, especially for icons, notification permissions for each new app you install, new multimedia controls in the notification shade and so-called Photo Picker are some of the new things that Android 13 brings. The latter allows you to share certain photos with an app instead of giving access to your entire gallery.
The update is 2.34GB big and if the update isn't available in your region, you might have to wait a couple of days.
