No java ! No USB ! No Bluetooth ! Even the most basic phone should have that....

x1-00 lacks dedicated audio chip (dac-33), which was present in 5310 Xpressmusic and others (google it). This is understandably to cut down costs.
Earphone reproduction might not be as Hi-fi as previous models, but cheap earbuds might not notice.
On the other hand, X1-00 loudspeakers are set to be tuned for clarity and volume
I think of this phone as a longlasting boombox with flashlight that can also make calls

this phone can bring nokia back....in the lower market, nokia is always the best...and its a low end phone...but without bluetooth..its gonna face a jerk....hopefully, its packed with a bluetooth at the release...

X1-00 will have a good loud speaker, but with no dac-33 dedicated audio chip, earphone quality will be average

no dedicated audio chip = worse than xpressmusic 5310 5130 etc.

this is mp3 player plus real cellphone..love it!
throw away camera, gps, social-net they're sacrificing batteray life.

Almost one week after official announcement, X1-00 is not yet listed in Nokia's website (Nokia Asia and Nokia Europe). Nokia is terribly slow now. How could they recapture their lost market share?

From the point of view of a normal user the Nokia x1-00 is good kind of phone.Its a simple one not having java support.Truly dedicated to Music lovers.

two months standby, I want one as a backup to my smartphone with one day standby. Actuall, I think it may be better than the smartphone for calls and sms.
