this phone sucks ,its really bad poor sound quality ,batter last for only for a day if u dont use else if use ur phone then i dont now how long the batery is going to last my suggestion for those who wants to buy this phone dont buy it

After buying this phone, I already had my Nickname 'Nokia fan no more'. And with their faulty products and consumer "DONT CARE", more and more consumers will HATE nokia. In fact, Samsung is quite on the edge of getting the No.1 spot now. Nokia has lots of model phones but in Ratings, they can't even much any of their competitors. This is because they only sell products but most of them are faulty, and full of user complaints.Isn't that a shame that it seems they are only selling products for income?
Another thing, the consumer "DONT CARE" seems to be a useless department in the sense that they're telling that phones still have warranty. A lot of users had problems a day, or a week's time after buying a BRAND NEW x3-02.Consumers should not even be thinking about warranty but for replacement or refund. Repairs should not be done on a brand new phone, not even software updates. Before releasing the products, it should have undegone rigid testing and quality control. Are you crazy NOKIA? This is our right as consumers and NOKIA is violating consumer laws by not recalling their faulty products.
Actually you are even lucky, it lasted a month with you. There were users who had problems on the phone a day/week's time after buying it as brand new. So I guess you're on of me now as "Nokia fan no more".

Seems like Nokia is starting to be sloppy with their phone's quality. They only think about producing and profit.
I have been a Nokia user ever since 5110 and I've NEVER had a Nokia phone that heats up while charging that's why I know there is something wrong with it.
Don't tell me that because of it's slim design that's why I can feel the heat of the phone. THEY SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT OF THAT WHILE DESIGNING THE PHONE. THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO KNOW BETTER.
Funny thing is, the Care Line keeps on telling me "you still have the 1yr warranty. you can always bring it to a care center". WILL THE WARRANTY COVER MY TRANSPORTATION EXPENSES?!?!
THAT IS NOT THE POINT HERE. As early as now am already having issues on the phone when it shouldn't. I would understand if I've had the phone FOR MONTHS. But I only have it LESS THAN A MONTH!
NOTE: THE CARE CENTER COULD NOT DUPLICATE MY CONCERN ON THE HEATED CHARGING. BUT WHEN I GO HOME OR THE OFFICE AND CHARGES IT, IT ACTS UP AGAIN. MAGIC?!?!

LET ME TRANSLATE SOME WORDS FOR THE BENEFIT OF OTHERS (SORRY)
***SECOND ISSUE: the TOUCH SCREEN interface. the lower right corner (just above the power/end call button - the one with the black strip) is starting to LIFT.
IMAGINE a flat surfaced item applied with a double sided adhesive tape, you stick it to a wall. after a time, the adhesive wears off and the item starts to fall off. ok fine, for a lack of better term THE INTERFACE OF TOUCH SCREEN IS LIFTING STARTING FROM THE CORNER. and i'm very concerned that in the long run IT WOULD LIFT OFF COMPLETELY.
i have to press on it JUST TO MAKE IT SETTLE. after a while IT LIFTS AGAIN.****

i've got this phone for LESS THAN A MONTH and i'm already having problems with it.
FIRST ISSUE: the phone has a Communities app that you can access your twitter and facebook accounts. since i'm more into twitter so i added my account.
supposedly when you "add" your twitter account, once successfully signed in it will direct you to your twitter timeline. if you click (touch) the HOME bar, it would show a drop down option so you can access your Mentions.
once on that screen (Mentions), if you select Options (lower left) it will show you a list including Refresh. the term itself should serve it's purpose right? but with this phone IT DOESN'T. if you select Refresh the screen should "update" but instead of updating my twitter mentions, it goes back to my Home Timeline. i had to MANUALLY go back to Mentions to check if it was updated,unfortunately it wasn't.
in order for me to get the updated Mentions i have to LOGOUT my twitter account and REMOVE it from the Communities app and ADD IT AGAIN - HASSLE MUCH RIGHT? i don't think that it should work that way. don't use the term REFRESH if it doesn't at all. again we're talking about MENTIONS.
another issue on that app (Communities), you can change the settings of your choice. apparently the phones' home screen (main display) shows your Communities. it should refresh according to the owner's settings. because of this feature i set the updates on my phones' home screen from 12am-12am so it would be 24hrs (mind you it was also mentioned to set the time like that on the app's TIPS). IT NEVER UPDATE MY TIMELINE AT ALL. don't tell me that perhaps i didn't have internet connection that's why the app doesn't refresh automatically, i have wifi 24/7 there is NO reason for me to lose the connection (unless if there is a power interruption).
THIS APPLIES TO FACEBOOK AS WELL (yes i tried it).

THIRD ISSUE: the BATTERY. it's extremely HOT everytime i charge the unit (i only used the one that came with the phone since i didn't want to let the phone/batt get used to multiple chargers).
i had to unplug the phone from the charger and plug it again after a mins (when it's no longer hot). it's been a routine for me everytime i charge.

Care Line and Care Center already REINSTALLED the software and it DID NOT work.
there was a RECALL before for the BL-C5 battery in the Philippines. the phone exploded while charging because of it's faulty battery.
if the comments in different forums is not enough for Nokia to RECALL these models, WHAT WOULD MAKE THEM RECONSIDER? wait until the phone blows up because of it's faulty charging or battery and do damage to a person?

x3-02,, i just bought it last december! But only for 1and half months of used, i experience many problems on this phone! 1st, while browsing d internet this unit automaticaly shuts off, then open again,, 2nd, during d 1st month of used, d downloading ang browsing is very fast,, that even 10MB Can b downloaded in 1min,,but unknowingly, it becomes slower n slower, until now..3rd., this unit is hanging, it stops operating in few mins..like wen im scaning my fotos, it is hanging,,4rt, after restoring its setings, ol my setings were gone,, knowing that it wil go bck on 8s faster browsing,but not! N last,,b4 restoring it, d signal is 3G but now dat was restored, it only acepting GPRS signal,, so f u have plan to buy this unit,, tink twice, or mybe trice,,bec, if how beatiful outside, its reverze on its operation!

drew, 21 Feb 2011the best touch and type phone with wifi is Sony Ericsson w9... moreThere was also the SE G900 touch and type + smartphone from 2008 in a very compact form.
Unfortunately the phone had too many problems.
Funny is that people are still posting about G900.
I would go for the SE Elm instead of X3 though you can still find X3 to be a good phone.

This phone x3-02 is a shame to NOKIA. And Nokia should be shameful to their clients. Why don't Nokia recall faulty products like what the Car manufacturers like do? They are taking advantage of users who just like to have a decent phone but in return the product was full of complaints and defects. Are they only after the income? It's a shame.
