igo, 19 Jun 2010the bad move they made is giving this phone such shape, yes... moreLet me start here. The talk about flex. . . Man i think nokia has more than enough experience in making sliders with qwerty. I mean n97 had qwerty. So did 6760, e75 . . . I mean they were side sliders but so what? 256k is most probably to keep the price down though i think that a little taking it too far. The design is okay. It has its fans. So thats not a mistake.

I have a Nokia smartphone 6760 Slide for Europe/Surge for USA market, but the same smartphone. I think this new X5-01 it will be my next phone, as they basically do the same things. Is just that mine has a better display. How could they returne to this poor in colours dispaly, I don't understand. The camera is better in megapixels, which is good. The WLAN is here, wich is great. The battery is smaller, which is a minus. But, per total, is a better phone, as I can imagine.

On single phone can appeal ... morethe bad move they made is giving this phone such shape, yes, it might be appealing, once at hand its not as comfortable as you expected, and other, what you are asking for 2.8 inch and a touchscreen wont be possible at all, thats the reason why this phone is cheap, BUT, atleast i hope they gave it a 16m color display, it wont hurt nokia's profit if they put on 16m colors cause they are very used to making those. even their cheap phones are now 16m, like e63, those are the bad moves they made, and another thing? slider is really hard for a qwerty. there is more percantage it will break easily because as you can see, its flex will be bringing to much work because it holds more than a D-pad would give, those are very bad moves.

I can see a lot of people say they love it. Thats what matters. Not the number of people who don't. I'm not a fan of the design myself. Not because of the form factor but i think the phone could use a 2.8 inch display. And probably touch screen.

will definitely go for this ! i'm so in love with this handset. and so happy that this phone will be release first in Indonesia ! yay xD. it's unique, young, good specs, and got a reasonable price. good for young people and college students like me. bravo Nokia !

I like the design and the specs. It looks fresh and young and sophisticated.
Hmh.. I wait for nokia launching a colorful flip qwerty phone. I think it's gonna be unique.
