Nokia X6 16GB lands in the USA, get it contract-free for 455 dollars

Nokia X6 finally made it to the USA. Well, at least the 16GB version of the phone. But that's a start. It is now available for preorder. You can get your unlocked Nokia X6 16GB from Nokia USA's online store for 455 US dollars.

That is exactly how much you would have to pay for this smartphone if you are in Europe. That is kind of odd since normally prices in the USA are way lower than those overseas.

The X6 16GB packs half the memory of the 32GB version of X6 and comes "without music" (read without the subscription for the Nokia Comes With Music service). And you get a pair of cheaper earphones (WH-701) instead of the cooler Nokia WH-500.

At the moment it is still unknown when the Nokia X6 16GB will actually start shipping there.
