z, 15 Nov 2024how is this phone and are there any problems like battery o... moreBased on my experience of using this phone for over 1 year, I can say that this phone is good, build quality feels premium, screen good enough, battery lasts a day (could last even longer with light usage), camera good enough (upper mid-range smartphone camera level, good output under good lighting, camera also did good enough in low light situations, but under artificial lightings like taking picture at a restaurant with yellow lights, the camera processing is not good enough, also its camera system is ever improving over updates), nice speakers (has Snapdragon Sound for higher quality wireless sound output), Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is also powerful enough (no overheating issue, stable performance, still a better processor compared to newer mid-range processors), and the Nothing OS also offers a fluid, smooth and stable experience. Nothing OS 3.0 is set to come in the near future, experience with this phone is expected to be much nicer. For the Glyph lightings, although Nothing marketed it as to improve productivity, to me its just for fun and to look cool and unique, never has it improved my productivity, and after sometimes, you will just forget about it.

How about their OS?
Is there any bloat in it?
It would be nice if anyone can check connections and see if anything with the OS.
aND does it have google or is there any option not to have google?

This phone's major competitor and it is in the range of Samsung's FE series. Flagship experience for less money. It's (v. 2) competitor is directly s23 fe, but I see features that are in my needs better than it. So, I attend to wait and by v. 3.

Screen flicker and going black started few months after.
I've tried to work with their support, no will to help, same with oneplus in the past, accepted the fact when I buy such devices, I should expect the level of tech support with little footprint they have in the industry.
Unlike Asus and iPhone(not a fan whatsoever), both supported much better than any other in my experience.

IQ200, 06 Aug 2024I'm sorry, but I don't believe you. All these tro... moreDue to nature of my old job, my phone was always in my hand, my screen was the highest battery user.
6000-7000 min voice talk, 8k+ text monthly according to my ATT usage report, frequent video calls or Google meets, large portion of my daily emails answered through the phone, so yes heavy use.
I did something about it, changed it, not your typical user, I have to change my phone every 12 months max due to my level of usage or at least use to, my new job is much less demanding so hoping my new phone last me more than a year.
Not saying phone quit on me, but in order to restore original performance needed to factory reset and start over which I couldn't afford due to interruption it causes and would only transition when the new phone was 100% ready with all accounts and apps.
Not seeking ANYONE'S validation, just sharing my experience so if you commit to a $600-$700 device, you know what to expect.
Phones go through excessive abuse under my usage and if it last, I can recommend it, more like life long torture test and have switched more phones than most typical users as I love Technology hence my job and need to stay relevant.

This is perfect balanced phone with well optimised software. They are pushing timely updates . Also the chipset and other features are good at this price range ..M using this phone from past 8 months ..
I am developing roms from more than 15 years ... I flashed more than 300+ roms on different Androids. I wont use stock software for longer time ..but this phone forced me to use his stock rom for longer time .. I havent seen a perfect stable stock rom like this so far .. Also on telegram there are more than 50+ custom roms are available with proper guides for this phone ... so u can use if u got bored on stock rom ... Lots of development is ther
Ignore the negative comments and go for it...!!!

I haven't had any major or really minor issues with the phone. The Speakers could be better but oh well. The question I have is about parts I have not been able to get a replacement back glass. I have emailed and tweeted with little to no reponse other than return the phone were you purchased for a new one. I didn't even have the option to buy from Nothing or request for them to fix and I pay for repair...Are there no extra parts.

Poor touch feedback. Limited set ups. Some of the basic set ups like silent and vibration mode is painful. The speakers are subpar.
Even after providing feedback in the issues in details l, the response is poor, in fact there is no response.
There are hiccups and non-responsiveness for many apps as well.
The in-hand feel is cheap, yes I use ip15, OP11 and galaxy S23. Np2 feels the cheapest. I even own NP1, NP1 definitely feel more premium while I hold it.
Apart from the skin, the phone absolutely sucks.

Steer away from this phone. Got this from nov 14 2023 and from writing this review, september 19 2024 all i can say, this is a pretty crappy gimik phone. Why?
- fails in alerting calls, silents randomly or the feature flip phone to silent keeps your phone silent even if its face up. Its not intuitive
- battery issues though solved from updates, still persisted
- expect this will be on abandonware next year. They already abandoned np 1 from company portfolio or website
