      Anonymous, 22 Oct 2024Think cameras are better on 2a. Just my 2 cents.Buy A55, stay away from this liar company! Screen is so bad! It's not amoled but oled with pwm light. When on low brightness in the dark, this phone can cause headaches if you are sensitive to pwm screens. Also a lot of smearing. That makes the A55 a better choice, at least the screen on A55 is true amoled!

It has oled with pwm light solution, which can cause headaches! I feel i was misled by Nothing. Lying company! Never buying this brand ever again. Also HDR seems to be a phad as well.

          If you are sensitive to oled displays that uses pwm to regulate the brightness, do not buy this phone! Also, they are clearly lying about this screen being an amoled panel, it is NOT amoled, but just oled, which is bad! A lot of smearing, a greenish tint on some parts of the display, on very low brightness, you will get a headache, it's being advertised as being HDR10, but apps like Netflix say that this phone isn't HDR capable. If they would've been honest from the getgo, i wouldn't have written this comment. But if you claiming that the display is of superb quality while shipping the cheapest oled garbage screen known to man, you deserve to fail imo. Stay away from this thing, yes it looks nice and fancy, but the screen is thé most aspect of a smartphone, it is the part you will look at thé most, and if you fail to deliver what has been promised, i will advice people to buy something like the Galaxy A55, which was the device i wanted to go with originally, but the nice design and the futurama Bender eyes look convinced me to get this phone, big mistake! I am sticking with my Galaxy A40, the device this Nothing 2a should've replaced . . .

              screen response is the worst among all phones i've used, keep clicking something else when scrolling, even without screen protector and force restart the phone.

                  Kakaaoo, 26 Jan 2025Guys in my country nothing phone 2a and Samsung Galaxy a55 ... morei have both, i main the 2a and the a55 as a secondary, and i strongly recommend the 2a. It has a worse chipset but it is way more optimized. a55 animations are not as great as nothing ones, and the a55 video is way worse than the 2a.

Because it has better cameras, better ecosystem, better protection, additional 1 software update and very better selfie camera. Also Nothing Phone (2a) will look quite foreign to you because its system is different from Samsung.
                    But if you want faster charging by a bit and more premium looking with unusual features, then go for the nothing phone.
                    I honestly recommend A55 because it's smoother and has higher quality 👍

                        Guys in my country nothing phone 2a and Samsung Galaxy a55 have almost the same price just that a55 is 25 dollar more expensive anyways what should I choose?
                        I haven't used any Samsung or nothing device ever .

                            Positives
                            . Selfie cam
                            . Stock Android os
                            . Battery back up and charging.
                            . Speed is very good but not for gamers.
                            . Os updates
                            . No problem with call quality and network reception.

                            Negatives:
                            . Horizontally long to hold. Have to hold with two hands and don't feel
                            good in hands.
                            . Volume buttons are on left side. Difficult to control from thumb. Left
                            handers will enjoy
                            . Back cam is not good for 50 Mpx but selfie cam is very good..
                            . Shaking pics with back cam sometimes and details are not good
                            while zoom.
                            . Camera has no AI features and camera app is basic
                            . Default Ringtonee, glyph interface, Dotted texts are unique but
                            Irritating after somedays.

                              Anonymous, 22 Jan 2025Remove pre-applied screen protection.I have the same issue with no pre aplied protectionin the phone, and i can noticed when im doing scroll for example.

                                This device has awful vibration motor. You will not feel the device vibrating in your pocket, and that's when you stand still, imagine walking or riding a bike. It's absurd! No reviews mentioned the same. Such a shame. Prospective buyers, should there be any, should know this.

Well, that doesn't sound good...the battery is good, maybe you use your phone a lot. the network is stable for me so maybe it's your service provider but the grey glitches on screen, i've experience them and sometimes it lags the screen..

                                        GANVELL, 15 Sep 2024does this phone have li-ion or li-po battery?According to teardowns the battery is Li-Ion its very nice they didn't cheap out on the battery !
