In my country(Bulgaria), 2a 256/12 is 340 euro, preorder for 2a plus is 450 euro.
So slightly better chipset, better selfie and 50W(from 45W) charging for 30 % more money...

personally, i prefer to have my own library of FLAC music. lots of people do—the 1TB microSDs that are available permit doing this with little to no consequence on faster internal storage. it also is a nice place to hold onto 4K recordings that span hours, as well as RAW files.
for me, there is no other deal. i like music. and given how difficult it has become to find desirable phones (or sometimes even usable ones, as many are outright missing important bands for my area), i cannot support a company that selectively excludes such an important feature from some releases, as this is the very behavior that has caused my predicament in the first place; it has become too hard for me to find a phone that i truly want (the lack of custom firmware support is stifling). as a consumer, it would be irresponsible of me to incentivize this, even loosely.
to me, a phone is a portable computer that can make calls. removable storage is a must. an essential feature that makes my experience, and does not in any way diminish yours.

For anyone looking to buy this phone please look for a Samsung / Redmi midranger, much better performance and cameras for your buck.

I wanted to order it also, but 256gb isn't enough storage for me and this phone has no SD card slot. So I am probably going to order new Edge 50 Neo instead. That has a better camera and smaller build. Also 512gb for the same money.
