Rurora, 22 hours agoI was also reading about the Nothing Phone (3) display and ... moreThere's always conflicting information online.
And if the company doesn't want to clearly state which technology they use on their product, always the case that they're obfuscating it on purpose.
Perhaps, it's about cost cut.

I was also reading about the Nothing Phone (3) display and got a bit confused because some places say it’s OLED and others say AMOLED. I found an article that explains it more clearly and mentions that the display technology is actually AMOLED, with some reasons behind it. Thought I’d drop the link here in case it’s helpful for others too: https://faxty.com/nothing-phone-3-display-resolution

savvyakbar, 18 Jul 2025I'm amazed and disappointed at the same time. Nothing ... moreI'm genuinely surprised that Nothing downgraded the display from LTPO in the Phone 2 to LTPS in the Phone 3. I haven’t seen other manufacturers use degradation of a product as a strategy to improve their next generation flagship device. It is at least contradiction.

The Nothing Phone 3 looks interesting but offers modest battery life, inconsistent cameras, lacks an LTPO display, and comes with only mid-range screen protection. The LED Glyphs feel more gimmicky than ever, performance is solid but far from flagship-grade, and at $799, it's clearly overpriced compared to better-equipped and more polished rivals.

Battery lasts similarly to s24 plus. But without using leds. Mediocre. Justt 23% better than s21 fe. Disappointed.

I'm amazed and disappointed at the same time. Nothing Technology has no reason to use the small player card now, especially with their existing product portfolio and the CMF by Nothing sub-brand. A business should always prioritize customer needs and feedback. A CEO telling potential customers to 'move on' if they dislike a product's design is damaging. Brand loyalty is built on meeting customer expectations. Failure to do so will simply make customers switch to a competitor.

Nothing is concentrated on making more phones rather than improving phone by phone,Big Brand LG most innovative phone maker quoted ,if Nothing concentrates just on glyphs and dote ,🤔think it’s time to exit and join One+😎

The SD 8 Gen4 and SD elite chips are about $240
The SD 8s Gen4 is much cheaper

That design... It even makes a Pixel look beautiful!

dracongk, 16 Jul 2025you have to be really crazy to be buying this over a honor ... moreThe concept overall is great upper midrange phone with flagship cameras. Like pixels. Many people would buy galaxy A56 with Ultra cameras for 500.

Phone companies like adding around 200 upon releasing new phones even A56 was for 499 when released or iphone 16 for 979, because many people willing to pay premium for novelties.

The difference in battery capacity between variants is just absurd. Both variants deserve 5500mah. That's just unfair.

you have to be really crazy to be buying this over a honor magic 7 pro , oneplus 13 or xiaomi 15 you can probably even squeeze in a vivo x200 ultra if you find it on a good deal price , if xiaomi can make a phone with the same kind of cpu at 400 usd retail (talking about the poco f7) there is no way in hell that nothing cant make it at 500 usd retail max

Personally i would prefer S24 ultra or even Oneplus 13 or even 13r

Might be worth a gamble to order the 16GB + 512GB storage via the Amazon link on GSMArena since that and the 12GB + 256GB are both priced the same. Amazon will surely notice the error sooner or later, but the higher spec model would be an absolute bargain at 799 euros.

I think if other flagships also add four 50MP cameras, such a useful glyph and maybe si/c battery ,then you/we may see they become more expensive or have to use lower chipset instead.

Jackfruit, 14 Jul 2025In Malaysia it costs roughly 660 euros and can get 10% back... more600 is the real price!! Will he lower it for Christmas or won't sell a single one?
