Nothing Phone (2) appears on Geekbench with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and 12GB RAM

The Nothing Phone (2), launching on July 11, has appeared on Geekbench with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, which is hardly a surprise since the processor was officially confirmed to power the Phone (2) by Carl Pei in May. Pei also revealed the rationale behind opting for this chip, which you can read here.

The Nothing Phone (2) unit that passed through the benchmark database runs Android 13 and has 12GB RAM onboard. In the first run, it scored 1,733 and 4,207 points in Geekbench's single and multi-core tests, respectively. And in another, it scored 1,739 points in single-core and 3,983 points in multi-core tests.

Nothing hasn't detailed the Phone (2)'s specs sheet yet, but the brand has confirmed the smartphone will pack a 6.7" display and a 4,700 mAh battery. Nothing also promised to deliver three years of Android and four years of security updates to the Phone (2) to make it more sustainable.

Well yes but can imagine ow much battery it will cost if whole back panel will be made of adjustable RGB lights. And people loving walking in rainbow like colours which growing everywhere will love to buy.

Your idea of implementations makes more sense than what they did
