Nothing Phone (2) screen size confirmed, will get 3 years of Android updates

A few weeks ago, Nothing founder Carl Pei confirmed that the Phone (2) - arriving in July - will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. And more recently, Pei said the Nothing Phone (2) would pack a 4,700 mAh battery, which is 200 mAh larger than the Phone (1)'s cell. Now the company has revealed the Phone (2)'s screen size.

The Nothing Phone (2)'s screen will be 0.15" bigger than Phone (1)'s display, measuring 6.7" diagonally. Nothing hasn't divulged its resolution, but it will likely be FullHD+ like the Phone (1)'s panel.

Additionally, Nothing said that the Phone (2) has a carbon footprint of 53.45 kg, which is more than 5 kg less than the Phone (1). The young brand also said that the Phone (2) uses 3x more recycled or bio-based parts than the Phone (1), with the retail package being plastic-free.

Moreover, to make the Phone (2) more sustainable, Nothing has promised three years of Android updates and four years of security updates for the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1-powered smartphone.
