Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition sells out in 15 minutes
Nothing launched the glow-in-the-dark Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition in late October following a many months-long design process. The phone was, as the name implies, created in partnership with the community, and it got a limited release of 1,000 units. These went on sale earlier today from Nothing's official website, exclusively to people who pre-registered.
Nothing saw 19,000 registrations of interest across 48 countries, and then it managed to sell out the Phone (2a) Community Edition in just 15 minutes. That is, online only.
If you desperately want one of these, you have one last chance. There will be a "limited drop" at Nothing Store Soho in London from 11 AM local time on Saturday November 16. That's it, so make sure you get there in time - or even queue up ahead of time, early iPhone-style.
Limited edition smartphones are still pretty rare (pun intended), so it's your chance to own a piece of history: Nothing's first device designed in partnership with its community. And the fact that it glows in the dark too can't hurt.
The limited edition model doesn't come at a premium compared to the normal Nothing Phone (2a) Plus, which is refreshing. It's got 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and is otherwise identical to the Phone (2a) Plus on the inside. If you want to learn more about the regular version, don't miss our in-depth review of the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus.

People fanboying over this mediocre phone, reminds me when people were fanboying over the Essential Phone which was easily one of the worst phones I've ever owned
