O2 UK has posted a tweet announcing it is going to offer the freshly announced HTC Rhyme starting from October 17 on a contract. O2 also says it will be the only UK carrier to do that. No pricing and plans has been revealed though.

Breaking news - we’ll be the only UK network to have the just announced HTC Rhyme! When can you get your hands on one? From 17 Oct!Tue Sep 20 14:45:07 via CoTweet

And if O2 isn't your carrier of choice then you'd be glad to know that the SIM-free HTC Rhyme may hit the shelves even sooner. Clove UK has posted in its blog saying it is expecting the HTC Rhyme on October 8.

HTC Rhyme was announced yesterday and it was confirmed to be a Verizon-exclusive for the first few days of its existence. Both Verizon and O2 UK will offer the lavender-painted Rhyme, and there will be more colors to pick from - silver and mocha (although their exact availability is still unclear).

In case you need to see more of the Rhyme before you decide if it's a worthy purchase, feel free to check out our HTC Rhyme hands-on.
