During 23 years of owning mobile technology there have been just two handsets that have failed to live up to the claims, this is one of them.
The unit crashes with regularity, draws in moisture to obstruct external display, and somehow connects itself to the web on odd occasions.
However I do love the cheap & basic design!

paid £90 for this at the start of last year. Finally replaced it and if it wasn't for the hollow attempt to justify the price tag I woulda threw it away much earlier.
Main problem was the frequency with which this phone would crash on me. I had about a month where it didn't crash at all but apart from that it would go at least twice every week, even on successive days :(
over the piece two of the keys went dodgy with me needing to squeeze like i was trying to gouge an eye to get the thing to switch on or off. (might i point out my previous phone was an old 'green screen' sony with a BT Cellnet sim that i had for 3/4 yrs! and i never managed to break that)
Reluctant to fork out £20 for a bit of wire I went for the cheaper option of a Bluetooth Dongle (which, due to mislabelling in Tesco I was given for no cost :) ) but this phone's Bluetooth functionality limited my file transfer between phone and pc to...zero.
Half the time i couldn't even understand what people on the other end of calls were saing to me the sound was so bad.
Camera was okish but the display made it seem bad.
It looked cool tho (woo)
If this cost £30 quid I'd be content, £20 and I'd be happy.

this is a rebadged benq .
it is one 02 badged mobile to avoid .

I would like to say i recieved this fone last xmas (2005) and it has been fine. I have had only 1 slight problem with it. That is that de "ok" button wont work and i really have to push it hard. The fone its all looks and doesnt have a very good camara or added features.

This phone is pants. I received it late last year and it's been a right pain in the ass. The battery life is low, the bluetooth conectivity is pants and the overall phone is a waste of time.

Like others I got this phone thinking it would be nice, but it's been back to be repeaired twice, first for charging for a DAy and dying, then it wouldn't allow me to send/recieve texts (a common problem with these it seems), and the battery life is a whopping three days max. I followed the instructions for proper charging, but it went from lasting a week to not even half. While my dad's nokia and my brother's motorola last for a week and a half!
If you get one that works, they're alright phones, but I'm looking at another one after this, I've already lost some important pictures after my phone was "fixed". My last two phones lasted many years with no problems, this one had screwed up twice in 8 months!

i have a problem with my PDA and would like to ask who can help me. I unfort cleaned the touch screen from my XDA II2 with a cleaning liquid and now there is nothing what works anylonger. for example i can not even reboot the XDA and align my screen. is there anything i can do OR do i have to send the XDA to repair ? thanks for yr kind help and advices

I've had this phone for a few months and it rubbish. I cant open files ppl send me, it keeps loosing the signal and its crashed a few times.

ive ad this fone for tym nw n its messed up well bad i kept my old sim card i finkin it cud b dat fing is i dnt want to ave a new number on ma phone the clock keeps restong by itself n so duz da date last week it sed it was 2001 den nw its sayin its 2005 its reli messed i finik u o2 people eiva need to send us a nu one or help me!!
p.s i didnt no we cud ave mp3 ringtones on dis? u guys for real??? reply to me ta nuff luv xx

I received the ox2i in April this year as a replacement. I have had nothing but problems with it and I am now on the third brand new handset which I picked up from the Kettering branch just over a week ago, i now cannot send or receive texts. Since receiving phone, o2 repair centre have had it longer than I have. Is it possible to have a totally diffeerent model sent to me as i have lost faith in this one.
I would appreciate an answer and any other suggestions on what to do.

i've had my phone for about 5 months and i thought it was really good except now the clock isn't working, you can set the time but then it just stays as that time it doesnt change and nor does the date, anyone know what i need to do? plz email me!

I got my replacement O2 X2i on 28th March 06, worked pretty well then today, 19/6/06 it just packed up? will not charge, will not turn on, checked everything and still nothing, I want my O2 X1 back, was a phone I could trust, Please help with returns details

omg u all r rating this phone bad i have this phone and i love it i have 4 mp3 ringtones on it n they work great the crama is gd n so is everythink eles im oni 14 n gettin the motorola v3m soon so ha ha ha i have only had this fone 4 1 week n i no where everything is on it plz reply
