very stable device, it didn't hang up even it is loaded with hugh set of programs, but yes the battery issue is true and specially after two years of usage..now i turned to Touch pro but I couldn't give up the Atom exec I gave it to my mom so it would be near my eyes...if u do not need a 3G it is the right choice

This device has very good clarity for voice.I am very satisfied with the features even this device cannot compatible for 3G network.But only disadvantage is slight poor battery stand by time.Otherwise it is very good.

almost every day till today 23sept08 it hangs and i find difficulty in making it open and the hyperbanda where i bought it from in ksa/bisha refused to help in repair
so i advise all dont buy it

Hello,
I have read somewhere the O2 Atom Exec has battery problems. Will you users please tell me honestly, whether this was restricted to that user or is a general complaint.
Pls note I am a power user and really put my PDA's and Handhelds to the task.
Pls answer ASAP? I am planning on getting this Unit. I really do like this Unit. Pls advise!!!!!

the o2 brand unit is good,there is the problem of user mind,advised upgrade your coconut shell..

To do a hard reset? Turn the phone so you can see the bottom of it and you should be able to find a reset button (use your stylus to reach it).
Merely pressing that reset button will perform a soft reset; to do a hard reset you need to be pressing and holding the power button located on the top of the phone. Hope that helps.

My opinion ....
I am very disappointed with the O2 Atom Exec - the battery life is appalling, even though I don't use the phone, video, or music functions! The operating system is extremely unstable - it frequently hangs, and ActiveSync appears unreliable and unstable, particularly after I install Microsoft software updates on my PC. I have stopped using this machine and will go back to either a Palm, or to a Nokia (anything with a different operating system!).
My advice - don't buy . . . two of my colleagues have also stopped using their O2s. Best wishes

But if the reason for turning off is to save on battery or not receive calls - try putting phone in flight mode. This way, it doesnt spend energy being on-line and it can have more battery life.

I am using this phone from last 1 year the phone is good looking but there is problem in upgrading.Windows 5 is with signal probelm some time signals drops but after all the processing is fast ...
